Good video, but as usual with rods, less is more. 3 rods there will do the same and have a quality fighting area. My pet peeve is watch in everyone think they need every possible rod out. What a cluster###. Line tangling, no fun fun fighting amidst all that line😊

I was under the impression that illinois was a 2 pole and line state. But I see a lot of people using 4, 5, 6 or more poles at a time. Have I been lied to my whole life?

Since this video, I've been considering building this same boat. On Lowes website, it says the 2070 has a max hp limit of 90hp. Obviously, you have more hp. So I'm assuming their website is wrong?

You got skinny poles can’t assume it’s a huge fish I thought it was too till I realized how thin the poles are

Great boat. U will love it. I be sure to keep two quarts of oil with you. I learned that the hard way w two strokes. They are great motors but when u least expect it the engine alarm goes off. It only happened once. I appreciate all your videos. Keep up the good work

Glad to see your hard work is paying off and you’re starting to put flatheads into the boat. Got me worried when you haven’t posted in about two weeks. The river being high this entire year has sucked. I haven’t even bothered with catfish yet. Been bank fishing for carp couple times a week, those are fun too.

Funnest fish I've ever had to wait on by far.

I think it’s probably deeper than 30ft there by the color of um. I’d say at least 50 actually. Notice how they have a little trouble getting below surface when you toss them back in . That typically only happens when you bring them up fast from depths deeper than 45-50ft of water.
