I finally saw an explanation on why the TOS E was battery powered. The Tomy guy said it was because of the motors that spin in the warp engines. He said with moving parts if people just plugged it in and kept it going all the time they would eventually fail, so this was a way of preserving the life of the motors. He said the Refit has no moving parts so now they can USB power it and you can keep it on all the time if you like. I was kind of pissed about the TOS battery situation till I saw that and it made sense. For what it's worth.

Awesome video! I was trying to figure out how other people were mounting it to the wall, and it turned out to be something as simple as this. I just took a couple of zippy ties, combine them together and hung it on the landing gear which is actually a great idea, and there you go!
