As one of the few really Big fans of Overlord, I thought he was one of the only characters that was done really well in Crystalized, it’s honestly his best outing imo. I do have the same issues as many others with the season, but Overlord ended up kinda carrying it for me. It’s kind of a shame we likely aren’t gonna see him again for a long time, if ever again. Maybe Ras’ master can take his place as an ultimate powerful evil

They really trashed the omega oni considering he is supposed to be easily on par with garmadon and the overlord, then he got beat by a few ninja, plus the worst part was how they made the first spinjitzu master seem biased to creation when his backstory says he was of both sides

I don't know how she didn't even knew her son was kicked out but that could of been the broading school bot brothering to tell her but still. If they like had the broading school making sure Misako never stayed in connected with Lloyd by lying to her and Lloyd or something like that, I think it would made me someone who would be okay with from an someone who hates her. Pretty popular opinion: I absolutely hate Harumi she didn’t deserve to be redeemed after what’s she’s done especially since she thought she was right while doing it- I also really like Morro he’s a good villain in his series how he became a villain is sad his actions make sense for what happened to him, his redemption was kinda rushed imo and him coming back and doing what he did in DOD didn’t really make sense for his character imo but it wasn’t character ruining like Harumi in crystallised where he character did a 180 and actually cared about Lloyd which ruined how manipulative she was which was her only good character-trait where she hated the ninja so much that she would do anything to hurt them but no she fell in love with Lloyd and found out that a character known as pure-evil turned out to be evil and the reason why her parents are dead so she’s good now

Part 2 for me is a 4/10 it has way too many inconsistencies you're telling me teenage Lloyd the green ninja who fought the overlord with a broken leg with half of his friends corrupted and the other half fighting for their lives can't handle some Vision's, I get that the Vision's are pretty bad but I thought he found peace with them in part 1, you'd think that only Lloyd can talk to the source dragons through his visions yet the source dragon of motion risk's her life by temporarily taking mortal form to talk to Lloyd and the ninja, almost everything that was important in part 1 is rendered useless in part 2, cinder isn't even cool anymore, they've been hyping up evil jay and he gets 10 minutes of screen time, nya literally fought him in the first round it should have been in the semifinals where nya can't lose but she doesn't want to fight jay, Kai and bonzle barely talk about whether their going to make it out of nether space, Jordana soul should have been with Kai and Bonzle, Zane the nindroid!!! lost his first round cause his ice melted faster than usual, Zane's literally powerless and Lloyd doesn't send him after jay, one of the episodes is literally a toy commercial the only good part about it was the talk between Ras and Arin. Elemental powers are literally superpowers now, cause you can't convince me that bubbles, balance and plants are elemental powers,the elemental master's are just there the ninja don't even interact with them, Sora probably would have lost the tournament if she was only using her powers, the entire concept of someone taking someone else's powers is cool but it just feels like without the powers you won from other elemental master's you would have lost I'm not a dragons rising hater I've loved everything they have put out so far (except for part 2 and I don't even hate it) but season 2 is a 6/10 unless they give jay some backstory in some shorts (like the wildness shorts) and give Lloyd some confidence until then it stays at 6/10, (bty the source tournament should have been it's own season) sorry if this was long.

As someone who slowly got back into the series, I got the Arena battle set which I am loving. More sales and success for Ninjago and LEGO in general.

This part was actually my second to least favourite part of dragons rising so far. I do like certain parts of the part but it had so many problems. The new powers were dumb asf,, the tournament was underwhelming, the twist with Zeatrix is stupid, you could easily tell Bleckt was evil and it was for the dumbest reason, Jay had to little screen time, the sets are so absolutely inaccurate, some of the ninjas battles that they lost is so annoying cause they shouldn’t have lost those battles since they have had their powers for longer and it feels like a rip off of season 4.

Honestly the only bad thing about this part was zane’s lack of involvement

For those of you saying that Jay was wasted, he wasn’t wasted Every season he gets more and more screen time and he’s gonna be a much bigger focus on season 3

I honestly feel like Season 2 aged the worst. The animation is poor, the final battle is underwhelming, and Garmadon is a chump. Garmadon’s “redemption” is also way too fast. Not to mention the “Final Battle” is literally just Lloyd flying around with the Overlord, getting eaten, and then The Overlord dies for like ten seconds before he comes back in the very next episode. It’s honestly my second least favorite season, the only one I dislike more is Hands of Time.

I loved season 2 as a whole. Part 1 was so near perfect for me that all part 2 needed to do was stick the landing and it would be a top tier season for me. Needless to say, it stuck the landing. I don’t think it surpassed part 1, just cos the threat of the wolf clan and the forbidden five was felt way more there, but part 2 was still excellent. I have very few criticisms. Controversially, I love Jay’s handling. Just enough to set the villain arc in full motion, have a critical moment (shattering his goodness), and instilling the turmoil into the relevant characters, plus further characterisation for how diabolical Ras truly is. My only real critiques is Zane is still being mishandled a little, but next season should fix that, and the predicament with Nya, Riyu, and their communications with Kai in nether space all happens offscreen. We really needed them figuring some plot details together, such as the purpose of the horns, and possibly even hinting at how Kai and Bonzle could find their way out of there. That really needed to be seen, even if it was just one more scene. But beyond that, excellent season

(SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T SEEN THE SEASON) In my opinion. I don’t like how Kai, Bonzle, and especially Jay were wasted this part. I’m more mad about Jay because at least Kai and Bonzle did stuff in part 1 and they still did stuff in part 2 (even if not as much.) Jay on the other hand just got wasted for the third time in a row. The first time I was annoyed but it didn’t matter that much. The second time I knew that Jay was going to be in the tournament so I was hyped. But now is strike three and I officially feel angry about Jay in Dragons Rising. I feel like he and Zane are the only two of the original six Ninja that hasn’t been improved in Dragons Rising, and for Jay it’s worse because at least Zane’s got some potential. Evil Jay is literally Oni Lloyd again. Crystalized may have been a mess but at least I found some good in Jay (that being his love for Trains.) but in Dragons Rising I can’t say the same (other than the pants jokes being rid of). Jay didn’t have to return to the team or anything, but he could have at least done more than he did. Problems with Jay aside. Dragons Rising Season 2 Part 2 is still pretty solid.

I didn't mind the season. i just wish the 2 parts were the whole season The 2 part the Source tournamen felt so Underwhelming to me and i wish the whole season was about it

I don’t like it that much, I prefer season 2 part 1, sorry… My biggest with it is… 1: The plot of the winner getting the looser’s elemental powers. 2: How they handled Jay, but him saying "and I will always hate you…" to Nya really caught me off gard😅 3: No bonding between Kai and Bonzle.. 4: Only elemental masters get to compete. 5: The elemental power of bubbles, plants, reflexes. 6: Zeatrix looks exactly like Beatrix, I get that their twins, but really…? 7: No Skylor…😢🥺 Either way this season is pretty good.

I Absolutely Loved Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 2 Part 2 it was Super Awesome, Fantastic, Incredible and Amazing The Ninja Were Awesome The Villains were Amazing The Tournament of The Source was Absolutely Amazing and Awesome I Loved Everything About Part 2 it was Super Amazing and I’m Super Excited for Season 3 Part 1 Overall I Absolutely Loved Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 2 Part 2 10/10 for me Can’t Wait For Season 3 Part 1 Next Year 2025 in March or April 🥷🩸🔥

Another great video as always my friend, I definitely agree with pretty much all of your points and probably couldn't have said it better myself. Definitely loved all of the setups and character development. Granted to hit on almost everything I'd have mentioned so won't rehash it but definitely a fantastic season. DR Season 2 is top 3 for me personally.

I didn't like how Lloyd was handled after ep 2

My biggest problem with the episodes is how Kai and Bonzles predicament was so under utilized. They were trapped in a sub dimension with 3 psychopaths for quite a while, and we barely got to see any of it. Just feels like a bunch of missed potential
