They really are! I was so excited when learned they were in the Haddonfield parade!!! Lovely people too, all having a great time. I especially liked the leader patting dogs that came up to him with their people.

The Divine is understood in many different ways, but believing that gives humans the right to annihilate others and take their lands is just plain evil.

Reading comments: President Biden is a Christian Zionist. The US has far more Zionists who are Christian than Jewish. Christian Zionists want Jews in Israel so that Jesus will return and those chosen will float off to heaven in the Rapture.

Most Quakers, eg me, don't have a problem with other Quakers being Christian, Muslim, Jewish, atheist, whatever. (You want to celebrate the cool holidays of your youth, go for it.) And like Christianity and Islam, Judaism is not a monolith. Anyone claiming to speak for "all Jews" does not, just like anyone speaking for "all Christians" or "all Muslims" does not. Sandy is speaking from her heart because she is walking in the Light, as she has all her life. I hope you reading this does too.

Thank you for speaking the truth to misguided Christians and Jews. How can any person of any faith find the suffering imposed on any other person acceptable? How can any person who claims to be a believer rejoice in the sorrow brought on others even if they are not like you? How can you think that God- whoever you imagine him to be- wants this to happen?

Yesterday, I was at this years parade with my camera. Heard veterans talking about PTSD and therapy. Some veterans go through hell, and others manage to avoid hell. Anyone needing help should be given it. Love marching bands! They cheer everyone!

My grandmother's first husband was a Scottish artist from Aberdeen, in Gordon Highlanders, killed on November 10, 1915, five months after they married in England. We all get sucked into wars we don't want; the least we can do is honor them and their survivors. Thank you.

PHL added on terminals. They already had a Terminal A when they built this one, so this is Terminal A West. When I first started going to Germany in 1986, foreign departures were from a converted hangar a drive around the airport. Terminal A was built next to Terminal B in the 1990s, and then this gorgeous terminal in the last 25 years.

Belief in the Rapture is a serious distortion in Christian teaching. It is a twisting of Scripture of Apostle Paul in particular and warned against by Apostle Peter. Sometimes it preached by false Jewish Zionist or Messianic teachers who actually deny Christianity while preaching their own version of Jesus Christ for their own selfish motives/purpose. These things are all the great Apostasy that Paul did warn about would appear at the end times. It is also written in the Quran that it is normal for them to deceive Christians. The best counsel to this is from Paul also in Galatians Ch 1 about not accepting a gospel of Christ preached to you that is any different from the original Christian New Testament Scriptures. Also refresh your memory by reading Jude 17-25 and Galatians 1:6-10 ~

Thank you for this. Yes. Anyone reading or not reading the Bible knows that the Rapture is nonsense, and that genocide to bring about the Rapture is about as evil as anyone can get.

I recorded all the bands as they came down Haddon Avenue on April 20, 2024. Magical. I am still posting videos from that day, about half of them are already on my channel. The most popular, by far, is a video of Quaker City String Band which I recorded during Philly's St Patrick's Day parade in 2023. I love that video, cheers me up no end!

Oh Roger! I first saw him at Christmas, he was a tiny kitten running across the Condado Lagoon park, being chased by a dog. He ran up a tree, and I knew he was the best cat ever. DIdn't take him long to come when I whistle. Another grandchildless cat lady, Maria is the most serious grandchildless cat lady, feeds 17 cats every evening, and she has had all 17 neutered. I call him Roger because gato rojo, or rojo gato. He's a red cat, gorgeous.

She is the highest-ranking Hispanic at NASA Glenn Research Center, and a member of the Ohio Women's Hall of Fame. González-Sanabria, Director of the Engineering and Technical Services, is responsible for planning and directing a full range of integrated services including engineering, fabrication, testing, facility management and aircraft services for the Glenn Research Center. Oh wow! Thank you for this, and for your great music! I hung out as you all warmed up, turned a corner and saw a string band, which I recorded, and turned back to record more of the pipe band. The string band became my most popular video, and turned out to be Quaker City String Band. Love the thought that went into the kilt.

I’m a snare drum with this band. We were playing “Shenandoah” while warming up the pipes and having the Pipe Major check that everyone was in tune. Our tartan is unique. It’s a combination of the Betsy Ross flag, the City of Philadelphia flag, and the Pennsylvania flag.

I had never heard of him either before Pamela and Joan both gave talks about him. We are so focused on badly behaved men and women that we forget that huge numbers of good folks came before us.
