does it come with remote servers etc?

@Tjup it does not. You need to supply escs (x2), 2 steering servos and 1 servo for 2 speed transmission, tx/rx

Like your choice of wheels, not perfectly scale, but thus keeping with the spirit of the Tonka base. And with their multitude of bolts, they have an air of High-Tech RC- gear.

That would make a cool fire truck.

I could see that. Swap out the howitzers for a ladder and bucket. Could use the existing hydraulics to move it.

Im thinking high powered hoses in place of guns with sealed cabin and oxygen supply. Ya know, for forest fires.

Are you running the brushed motors that come with the kit? This is the only one I've seen besides Tomleys. It's an awesome rig. I really like the colors you did. Great job!
@jebster338 ай бұрын
Yes. I used the stock brushed motors. They have no problem moving it along. And thanks for the complement on color. I think it gave it a unique look.

I didn't get that far yet. So you have to make your own bracket to raise the rake?
@jebster339 ай бұрын
The rake is firmly mounted to the chassis in stock form. I wasn't happy with that so I decided to fabricate my own solution. Doing it in a way that requires minimal modifications and tucks away.

Hi, looks great, what was your lighting issue ?
@jebster339 ай бұрын
It ended up being a voltage to the receiver issue. I was running 6v but the lights require 7.4v. I just upped the voltage, which the receiver can handle, and that fixed it.

I chose a CAT yellow used for heavy construction equipment. I've done that on a few other large multi axle rigs I have so decided to continue the trend. I didn't want to do the typical olive drab military look.

So have you fixed it? I have the same issue. It was pushed forward partially manually and now has that same play. RSE is sending me plastic shims where the arm meets that step. Play doesn't seem there, more at motor arm
@jebster33 Жыл бұрын
They sent me shims too. It helped but then the motor crapped out so they sent a replacement for that. Still had play. One thing to check is the spring tension. Mine was cranked down way behind spec when it arrived. I think that is what burned out the motor. Not sure if that contributed to the play.

My drivers side rear pivot bracket lost the pivot stud and I need to replace the entire pivot bracket. How did you remove the Nylock nuts? I can’t get a wrench or even a socket on the damn nut, now room at all with the steps mounted.
