I rode Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Disneyland in 2024 some weeks ago and filmed the ride. However, I was incredibly disappointed and underwhelmed in the ride. No dancing spoonbill birds, lady butterflies, Stella the dog, Reggie, Darnell, Two Fingers, 5 of Tiana's friends from Dukes Cafe, 2 Fenner Brothers, 5 scary crocodiles, 1 scary crane bird, Marcel the cat, Lawrence. Also Dr. Facilier is missing. Also 3 of the songs "Ma Belle Evangeline ", "When we're human", "Friends on the Other Side" is missing and too much dark spaces and hardly any story which I don't remember. Also, I cannot sing the song "Special Spice" which twists my tongue so I can't sing along to it. I made a youtube video of Tiana's Bayou Adventure and featured the action figure Lawrence and Dr. Facilier mini funko pop and rubber banded them both on my right hand. I also paid tribute to the 1927 Mississippi river flood victims which the ride completely ignored and made a youtube video of it. I was also surprised by the questionable Salt Mine sign jokes at the queue which I don't find funny, and I hope Disneyland staff removes the salt mine sign jokes because of slavery in the Salt Mines in the 19th century. Anyways, I'm done riding Tiana's Bayou Adventure and will skip it on my future Disneyland trips. I'd much rather ride Grizzly River run, Pirates of the Carribean and Jurassic World River Adventure, Rattlesnake Rapids at Lagoon Utah which I enjoy riding. I hope that Tiana's Bayou Adventure can be fixed with a real Princess and the Frog retelling with Dr. Facilier. Otherwise, I'll patiently wait many years for a second retheme of Pocahontas Around the Riverbend or The Emperor's New Splash ride.

I hear you. Very valid points and I know others share the same sentiments. I agree that it doesn’t have the same build up and suspense like the original splash mountain. But there are other aspects of the ride I do like. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. 🙂
