As patient if I have facts that my clinic shared information with my landlord, what should be my next step?

The webinar was very informative, and it did give me an update about the importance to protect the information and follow with the regulations as well.

This was a really good webinar. I thought the presenter was engaging and tried to take dry subject as interesting as possible.

I had a doctors office call me with a lab report. When I would ask a question all she could say was that she didn't know, but it isn't cancer. I asked her to mail me a copy of the report. She said she had to have a signed consent form. I don't think she has to have one to send it to me. Was she right?

I did a “public” info request on police body cam footage, of my own attacked. I was denied since they claim HIPAA. How can I bypass that?

It would be nice to make sure police and first responders know that HIPAA does not apply to the person filming a patient in public.

So does that mean the police can not deny my public record request since the body cam footage is of myself?

My employer is trying to coerce my consent to release my COVID-19 test results. I do not consent to volunteering my protected health information to the government. I told them to use 45 CFR 164.512 (j) to get my information without my consent and then to compensate me for that information according to the 5th amendment of the US Constitution.

I have a serious question yes my question is if you feel like a doctor in a pain specialist is targeting you and you know darn well that nothing is in your urine and you that you're free of drugs alcohol and all of that and she comes back in and gives a result which does not make no sense whatsoever because my pain specialist before he got sick and went in the hospital so therefore I can't continue to go with him he was the best I never had no problems with him whatsoever and I know this has to do with the office and and I want to know what can I do about it and I also want to know that so since I felt like she was targeting me what I did was I had my granddaughter take a urine test and she came back 93% methamphetamine and oxycontin and some other kind of different three or four different drugs which is ridiculous and I know that to be a lie and I just look at the lady and I thought to myself you got to be joking is there anything that I can do about this

How embarrassing. Talking about equity without a single black person at the table. You're so committed to equity but are resistant to diversifying your staff. Performative and unacceptable.

In order to ensure a member/guardian and their caregivers have a COMPLETE medical record when they need it I think we need a national, and even better, international unique memberID (similar to a MBI) with codes that identify the < 18 person's guardian, parent, group home, etc. This will work much better than working with matching algorithms that are all different and don't work fully due to variances in data sources.

Question: Does the HIPAA Privacy Rule permit hospitals and other health care facilities to provide general information about the size of the rooms and if pictures are permitted on the walls?
@RainbowKid712 жыл бұрын
It should. Size of the room isn't patient info.

I want a comprehensive law that essentially gives you back control over all the information in your life. From your DNA and medical records to your browsing and purchasing history to your conversation and call history and so on. Something that comprehensive would likely need to be a full on amendment though, so not gonna happen anytime soon. I might be getting a job soon at a company that takes recorded audio and uses it to target and improve advertisements. I'd be in DLP, so slightly less ignoble than the ones using the data they 'acquired' from you to make better ads and more profit. I'd be protecting your data from being 'acquired' by others. Thanks for making these videos, it's helpful to brush up on HIPAA and other data privacy laws for the 2nd round of interviews.

Senator please vote against Neera Tanden! She's Too Corrupt to be in a position that lets her give out *ethics* wavers. Too corrupt to be involved in a budget office, & not experienced in government (or any) budgets. BUT she's Very experienced in Pay For Play. And that is the problem! Progressive Bernie Sanders won this state's presidential primary. That should tell you that your constituents are tired of Establishment corruption. #RejectTanden <--trended for good reasons! Please *Listen* to the people. We are so exhausted over corrupt players like her! Neera can call herself a Progressive, but that self-labelling is total bull. She actually attacks Progressives and their policy desires. Keep her away from Budgets. Far away from Social Security/Medicare policy. Keep her away from easy access to the Oval Office. Why do they even want her and her corruption so close!?!That's the trillion dollar question. What is this unholy relationship? We are depending on you to reject Tanden.
