How did you hang the punching bag exactly (what did you use) planning on getting one at home when I am not at the dojo
@asims.m.14574 ай бұрын
Awesome man! So in the beam, there was an inbuilt loop. I had a chain and hook from a swing, you know the type of swing which hangs on a single chain. So I hooked that on the beam loop. And then I hooked the punching bag on this chain at whatever height i liked and just wrapped the dangling chains around itself. I had to use the swing chain to decrease the height of the punching bag, otherwise, it was too high for me. Also, the chain that came with the punching bag was not getting into the beam loop as its shape was longer than the swing hook. So I got lucky that I had the swing hook lying around. Other wise, I might have had to chip off some concrete to fix the hook. Also, if you do not have a hook, there are punching bags that come with metal apparatus that you can fix on the wall, and then hang the bag on it. Hope this helps. Keep up the grind my man :D

Asim, in down swinging its risky you are swinging straight to your groin...you have to spread your legs more widely and swing little above your inner knee and you must take out on other side. Even in foam it pains when you hit your groin area pls be careful. Otherwise very good upper body swinging. Me too intermediate in chucks and training intensely. All the best..👍

@@asims.m.1457 Thanks man 🙂 all the best to you too....learning any weapon is an art. nunchaku, sword or any combat weapon comes to our hand with the blessings of god, may be we warriors in last birth😉. Not everyone has the intrest to handle weapons. Our soul naturally attracts us towards those weapons i believe. ☺
