The Mini offset turquoise? markers..... Dbl. Sweet.

Brilliant video and while I knew which was which, that was in large part due to the fact that phosphor bronze strings have their shift noises that nickel and steel do not. *Many years ago, I installed piezos in my Squier and Kramer stratocasters.* I converted 1 tone of each guitar to a volume for the piezos straight to the 1/4" jack so I could blend it with the single coils or run it solo. *Eventually, I put acoustic guitar strings on the Kramer which still worked fine with the pickups but ultimately, it sounded 100% identical to an acoustic guitar.* I just bought a dozen large piezo discs and plan to do this arrangement again.

Why doesn't PRS put two side dot markers on the 24th fret?

I always laugh at people sayin Tone wood and then demo it with nothing but high gain chugging and crappy tuning an playing.

That’s just a private stock price tag. Insane, I know. But that’s what they charge.

Evidently the jade colored guitar is the cheaper one and the blue colored guitar is the expensive one.

4:10 stop with this cork sniffing nonsense... especially when your playing is going through an interface and plugin full of effects. Its a cool guitar, but it isn't worth 12k, 6k or even 4k and tone wood is not part of the equation.... ever.

Small detail, but on a PRS Private Stock, I'd hope to see a proper grain matched backplate. I get CNC routing kills the cavity, but what's a a cm or two extra on a body blank (which you band saw off before CNC) in the grand scheme of money and guitar production. That way you can have an almost exact match to the grain pattern. It's small aesthetic decisions like this that make me cringe at some of the Private Stock guitars i've seen. Is it the worst, hell no, but it is perfect, definitely not. For the art piece price tag, I'd want to see a piece of art not something that I question. Don't hate on the messenger, I'm engaging with your channel and speaking my mind so hopefully the interaction helps.

How the hell you guys forget to include scale length on specs. How in the world buyer would justify their purchase of this 12K if you not included full details of this guitar?!

Spector is in first place, Dingwall in second place, and Ibanez is in third place as far as tone is concerned. I would have to actually play the Spector and the Dingwall before choosing which one to buy, but based on the quality control that Dingwall performs on their ready-to-play basses, I would have to side with the Dingwall!!! The Ibanez doesn't move me at all.
