Sir, your talent is the kind that never gets recognition until we need to USE YOU!🤩👌👍😢😢 As bad as that sounds 😢😢😢. But your wire writing techniques are the best on KZbin because they're PRETTY! I don't want a letter without the flair. I love your flair.

When you add a second letter close to the capital, do you continue with all the letters close, or is there a space between the first two and the rest of the name!
@r.d.marlow99144 ай бұрын
Hey Wendy honestly I try to keep them as even as possible. The hardest part you'll find for a beginner keeping the height of the lowercase letters the same. good luck thanks for watching

My granddaughters have unusual names - you'll never find them on a toothbrush.😂 and I would so love to make them necklaces for Christmas. I have done some wire work before, but I've never managed to get the hang of decent looking letters that would be good enough for gifts. I so appreciate your videos.

I always end up marking my wire with my pliers
@r.d.marlow99144 ай бұрын
I made the tools video where I show you that if you take a file to the inside edge of your chain nose pliers it'll help minimize the marks, I never see a mark anymore. Could also be the wire you're using I make sure to use half hard.

How do you stop your pliers from marking the wire?

What was the height of the cross, the width of the arms, and how far did you go up before making the arms? No one seems to share those bits besides the height. This is a nice video quick and to the point. I’ve made two crosses recently and both had short arms 😖 thanks for sharing!

I have been watching your videos and have come to the conclusion you are a silver wire Wizard, I've just started to dabble with wire and ok with it, then I came across you... I am totally smitten with this, I'm really excited to get started learning and practicing. Thank you so very much for lending your videos to us, it truly will be a life skill!

Once again, watching you make this crucifix, I am going to rewatch your steps, bending my wire as close to your as I can.. I really love the ease of using the pin-vice leg twister move, too. The best move is the Sacred Heart crucifix move, excellent! Add two 24 or 26ga red brass or gold wires, lightly twist & tweak together, attach across the heart, for a Sacred heart in style! Thank you so much for teaching and inspiring me! *JMJ*

I'm not a religious person. However I'm a jewelry maker with religious family. Out of all of the tutorials I've seen on wire wrapped crosses, this one is the only one I really really like. I don't sell others work, I gift it. I can't wait to make this for my mom. Beautiful work
@rochelem38726 ай бұрын
That's nice, but of course there is nothing wrong with selling stuff you make from learning from another person if someone wants to do that. After all, that's how it's been done for thousands of years. Someone has a skill, he teaches it to others and they use it. Nothing wrong with that. You give a man a fish you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. 💜
