Our 64mm Freewing MiG-15 is a hoot to fly. 3 minutes plus on a 3S 1800. Fast and on rails.

The original has a small rudder as well. Not enough to "Knife Edge," but fun to fly coordinated turns. I get about 2:30 of power before it needs to come in.

I have the original, no cockpit, just painted foam. I lost one of the cannon immediately on a bounced landing. It's anemic. I would put a bigger battery if I could.

After putting the Timber X together, I found I'm not a fan of the quality of the parts. I found that the flaps and the ailerons were different thicknesses so I had a hard time aligning them with each other and the fuse. I'm reluctant to start sanding them because it would include the WHOLE surface.

Recently bought this UMX timber from somebody who bought it 5 years ago and flew it once and never flew it again can I ask does anyone remember if the green light on the receiver board /esc slowly flashes green after initialisation thanks 🙏

I know this is an old video and you probably figured it out. But I’m thinking it’s your bearings causing the squeak. Axial didn’t put sealed bearings in it. I pulled my diffs apart and discovered some froze up bearings. Going to get some Fast Eddy’s.

Why is the rotation of the motors the same? Why not just reverse one motor and change the prop? Seems logical...yes?

Mine came with a XT-60 connector. Great vehicle. The first thing I noticed was how much smaller it was than my SCX6.

The only true 1/6th scale Jeep is the one from Dragon Models and has all the enchalladas the real Jeep has and can be converted to RC. RocHobby's is a tad smaller than 1/6 but nevertheless a nice RC version.
