I’m on bag o and I’m struggling to get the small springs in how do you do it?
@brianlackie5093

Shocks and work a lot better if they were at least a 1.5 mm larger in the shock bodies could be a little bit larger 6 to 700 weight oil and test different springs. Would definitely benefit from a larger shock shaft diameter in a larger diameter shock body would be good for 8th scale

Truggies work a little bit better in 8 scales shocks have gotten a little bit bigger over the last decade but there's still too small they still need to be bigger with bigger Pistons and taller to accommodate the way tracks are built in Europe and the US the shocks just don't cut it

8 scale buggy and 8 scale truggy shocks how to detect none of them are any good. There's not enough pack and too much rebound the cars jump okay but they don't land well at all. They don't even jump all that great are they fly into the air because of the speed they carry but don't jump well and landing on the downside is even worse. The shocks suck
@brianlackie5093
@brianlackie5093 9 ай бұрын
I don't know why 8th scale shocks are designed the way they are. The bladder needs to be deleted with a seal oring seal in the cap. No blader, with a bleed screw and set them emulsion, no rebound, no bladder no rebound, dead would be better

18:45 "You'll wanna do this so that, when you're adjusting your brake linkage, it's just not quite as hard." Dang, such a simple thing -- running the linkage threads back and forth with a drill to loosen up the plastic threads. Been running my NB48 2.0 since 2020 (3.5 years now) and I'm sure I haven't made nearly as many brake linkage adjustments as I would've if it wasn't such a pain to twist those little linkage knobs, all because the threads are so tight. Having to fight with pliers, which chew up the knobs and file off the little bit of grip knurling on the outside only makes it worse. Going to do this trick right now! Thanks Tebo
