I love Greek mythology too! This new series seems very promising! Jeff Goldblum looks perfect as Zeus. Very curious to see this series!

OK, I don't know if I'm ready for Zeus to be Jewish, or a comedian, but we'll have to see how Goldlum does. I could see young Tim Curry as Zeus, but he's old and out of shape now. It does smack of American Gods a little. I'm interested just because of that. I hope it measures up. The idea has potential, anwyay. Also, the gods always need worship to maintain their power. Human worship and tribute is what defines gods. Elementals exist because they exist, and titans are the offspring of elementals. The gods seized control of the planet and the atmosphere to control humans. When they caused humans to worship them and offer part of their wealth and spoils as honor for favor of the gods, the gods became more powerful. But the gods are also just like people, but without the moral compass or imperative. That's why they fascinate us as a plot device.

As a person who grew up watching this show on Fox kids I’m impressed with everything he’s delivered so far. You said it best that everything just flows so smoothly but still feels fresh in some ways without stripping it of its original flavor. I’m surprised at how high the stakes were raised in this season. Immediately you feel the weight and seriousness of each episode. Also, the show recognizes that its audience has grown up and the tone is more mature without being a show that’s no longer for kids.

Brandon put his heart and soul into the character of Eric Draven! So much so that He even brought the original comics by James O’Barr to the screenwriters so that it wouldn’t turn out to be a straight up horror movie. At its heart ‘The Crow’ is a love story - read the comic! Brandon is the reason that ‘The Crow’ became more than just a passing piece of cinema! Scarsgard just showed up for a paycheck! (And he owes every cent of it to Brandon!)
