I'm so tired of ppl beeing overcritical with Jame's voice. He sounds phenomenal even if he struggles with the high notes and no I'm not deaf for god's sake. Usally, they're starting the set with songs in a lower register, so he can warm up but on this tour he is forced to sing a very high one at first. Every singer in his 60's has problems to reach the high notes. Even Bruce Dickinson, as soon he has to sing "Aces High" or "The Trooper" he sounds like as if he were on the verge of fainting. But everybodys like "Whoaaa, he sounds sooo good". This is a freakin' double standard to me. So could you pls stop complaining about every note James couldn't hit perfectly? Thank you.

It was my second time after 2009 seeing them live. It was just a really great time, about 15 meters away from MPs drumkit, the tracklist was really good, James voice sounded really good, the light show was one of the best I've ever seen and the sound was pretty good for a live event. So glad i was not too parsimonious to buy the ticket! I am pretty sure to come again in 2025!

At the beginning of the show, during Metropolis Pt. 1, when we first heard James LaBrie’s voice, we all thought it was going to be a horrible show… But as the performance went on, he got better and better and actually delivered a solid set! In many of the later songs, he was honestly pretty awesome - especially in Hollow Years, The Spirit Carries On, Octavarium, Home, and of course, Pull Me Under! I was genuinely impressed.

I get Metropolis is kind of a fan favorite to start the show off with, but that’s really tough for James to come out and sing it as the FIRST song of the night. At the very least, they really should have down tuned it a full step. Ideally, I think they should’ve opened with something easier to sing like Constant Motion. It’s a high energy song and an easy song to get a James warmed up.

Exactly I’ve seen rob halford in recent years adapt to not have the upper part of his range anymore. Still great shows and very enjoyably. As a singer myself I know aging requires us to adapt. There aren’t many Glenn Hughes and Paul Rodger’s types that defy aging!
