Hey Sim Racing friend.....I'm new to uploading, I'm a mid life aged man, learning new things. I'm learning Filmora. But what do you think is the best way to extract the highest resolution shorts? You 9:16 top videos resolution is better than mine. My PS5 and TV Monitor can handle 1440p.....but I even downgraded to 1080p to keep it all the same and man, when I crop to fit the 9:16, I don't like the look of it. Im literally on like day 1 of editing.....so be gentle, like when I learned how to overlay a SUBSCRIBE sticker at the end of my short, I celebrated. 😅😢😮 Is Filmora doing anything to mess it up? Or am I not knowing all the little tricks yet? Im not on a full PC, so i thought maybe its all my laptop can do...its an MSi Sword 16. I'm not a tech guy but I know it's a capable laptop. 32gb RAM, with RTX4070

@@YappingGamerDad oh god! Where do I start with this one.hahhah. OK first of all I record the stream in 4k. Then set up the short aspect ratio in my video editor. Cos it's in 4k you can zoom in... I just copy the recorded footage on top on each other in the video editor. And zoom in and crop both parts to where I want them on screen. Then start the editing. This way you edit both top and bottom at the same time. Hope this helps?

@@gtrealm I know. It's super vague to ask that.....or maybe too big of an answer to tell me. 😅 It's fine. Anything helps when you don't know anything. Yea I saw tutorials on how to split the screen....is that top portion still in full 4K? My says they are in 1080p FHD but it looks more like 720p to me, at best and I'm assuming it's from the format changes and cropping to fit 9:16 said format. I have alot to learn and thought you would respond. Thanks either way. Im going to try some things. I want to try some things I can reproduce easily so I'm not cracking cold fusion every time I have a race I want to upload and grab a short from, to advertise for it. Dear lord my 42 year old brain hurts, friend....I'm a mechanic, engine builder and auto service manager, not a tech guy. BUT IMMA LEARN!

The mean thing is you have to have the source material in 4k. Edit it in 4k, then when it time to render it, you render it at 1080 x 1920 NOT 1920 x1080 if you get me?.. @@YappingGamerDad

I just seen a short you saying I’m kie fan, been on the game about 3 years seen his stream about 5 times I watch tidge and couple of smaller channels, but I do take a look at that hate channel guyz srt to call people out when I see them in a stream, I hate it when ppl come on social media to try and ruin someone, and I called you out as your a small channel, 99,9% of small channels go on guyz to hate on kie, yet there channels stay small there is a good reason for that,

Actually the far majority of ps4 games only saw limited enhancement on the pro but the price was only a small increase. Here the price is extremely inflated to almost double and more with disk drive etc. It's also only mid range pc spec as the cpu is still very slow compared to high end pc. The presentation was terrible really as basically the offering appears to be fidelity mode at 60 with some small raytracing improvements. Having said all that it will sell and it is a niche console. You are not being forced to buy it as there is already the ps5. This has been the most boring generation of consoles from a game standpoint by a mile so this in line with that. The switch 2 is the only exciting console on the horizon because it has the truly unique game offerings. price is relative. Adjust to inflation and the ps3 was more expensive than this. And when you consider prices for apple products its not that extreme but very pricey for a mid gen refresh

I'm not short of cash, but thinking I'll wait for the PS6. The reason being I play GT7 exclusively in VR, and until there are upgrades to the VR2 viewing experience, matched to the power of the PS5 even currently, then Ill be giving the Pro a miss. I fully expect the VR2 features to be vastly improved by the time the PS6 is released.

I didn't really touch on PSVR2 as that's a hole different confo. I would "fingers crossed" that Poly will make some big changes to how the PSVR2 looks and works with the new ps5 pro. As there is still a lot on complaining on how bad the frame rate is on the headset. But we will see.. Thank you for commenting. Much appreciate what peeps think..

That is exactly my thoughts. GT7 in VR for me. Unless it's a game changer for PSVR2 it's not worth the upgrade irrelevant of cost.
