It really feels like Christmas for me. On the day of Christmas i found a hole new audio series with not just one but 8books!!! A great first book, looking forward to the rest.

your first description of the mantis alien is very similar to what i experienced 40 years ago , but what i experienced was not a tough combat ready being. in fact me as an 8 year old with a machette took its head off. and you missed it's acid blood, still got scars from that day. those things necks are about the same diameter as a 50cent piece. and the twin segmented spikes for arms , well they do not matter so much f the head is not attached. it tried to convince me that i would be happier if i left this planet with it. said mentally that they could not complete their invasion with me here. told me it knew everything i would do in my life. andthat is where it effed up, cause it apparently did not know i had a machette so close and accessabble or that i was going to use it . so mantis aliens are niaeve and a bit slow compared to us. course if it had not lied , i might have considered the offer a bit more. ad wtf about that grinning man, that is like every other person you see on the street. uggg
