Just dropped by to thank you. Saved me tons of money over the years. For "defect" part I just ordered them from net XD. Keep them in glass displays with some led light. Nobody know the difference haha. Win win.

I used to only buy real Lego. Buying fake Lego was practically a sin to me. But then I discovered medieval Lego. I became obsessed with the old knight sets. Castles, houses, and ships. I immediately went to buy them, only to discover how expensive they are. So I dedicate my money to fake Lego. Amazon sells plenty of AMAZING fake medieval sets. I just recently ordered one for $50 (it had 1700 pieces) it was amazing to me, and still is. Don’t be ashamed to buy fake legos guys

As an 'old school' Lego collector, I remember the days before the numbered bags, so I have no issue with how everything is packaged. Also as a long time collector, the whole 'investor' market sucked the fun out of collecting older sets that were once very reasonably priced on sites like Ebay. Reality - the knock off copies are perfectly fine for 'build and display' collectors, and noting the price, I have no complaints. That said, companies like FunWhole and Pantasy are now offering models that are 100% comparable to Lego for infinitely better prices.

Ive got a fake pyramid and fake notre dame over the past few years. Quality wise its not that far off the real lego and end product is virtually indistinguishable from the real models aside from the lack of branding - as far as noticeable to my eyes, and when compared to the display models at the flagship lego store in Leicester Square. Bought myself a fake Eiffel tower for Christmas.

In this economy? Lego has lost their mind if they think I’m buying their products. Paying a high premium for name brand plastic is ludicrous. When Lego decides to get off its high horse I’ll buy them again. Until then they don’t exist to me.🤷‍♂️

@ there’s no way you can justify the outrageous price tag of Lego. They price gouge everything to the point that I couldn’t care less if other companies copied their set. As long as it builds and holds together I’m buying the cheaper set. I used to be all for Lego. A companies greed will always deter me though. After all that’s MY voice to them saying eat rocks shits too expensive. If everyone did that they’d drop their prices and you’d be baffled at how low they could actually sell plastic and make a profit. Even with the time needed for someone to use a computer software to design their sets.

@@Dirty_sensations I don't want to justify the price of Legos, but we're not talking about basic necessities; if the price is too high you don't buy it... rather there are starting to be some really nice legal compatibles (like Funwhole or Pantasy...)

Lego is expensive because 3rd party sellers have made it a job. They buy up sets then wait a few years after they retire to sell for huge profit. I usually buy non lego and save a ton. Keep over paying if you want and encourage 3rd party business to continue. In the end its all just plastic people.

My first official Lego aircraft I had gotten was 60022, I gotten it in 2022, and I still have it. It’s gone through many internal changes, (FE panel, galley, etc) I also added a passenger door to the front for the pilots. I will forever love it and I have no plans on selling it or giving it away.

Hmmm I think LEGO are scam price with overprice. I tested buy brick compatible (China product) and I compare with real LEGO, I have many LEGO collection. But I think brick compatible are worth it to buy if not for install or assembly just for room decoration and photography. But if you want install and assembly always just buy LEGO. I use brick compatible and LEGO for my part. I always buy brick compatible for expensive sets, like Lego Orient Train, just buy China product "Brick compatible" the quality are good too.

I have no problem with ripoffs as long as the set isnt a copy of an existing set like this one is, not only do I love those mamoth boxes you get with these sets, but I also love the feel of opening up a creator expert set, I do have a couple knockoffs like a coffee shop, and an ice cream parlor, that I feel fine about having as those arent rip offs of lego orginal sets.

The facts are, there will never be a right price, personally, I see no problem with paying $400 for a very detailed modular that will only add to my city, but other people do 🤷‍♂️ nothing i can say to change that, but I will always stand firm on the fact that i'll never buy knockoffs of lego original sets like the Diner.
