I want to make one for my niece She is almost two months old and want it to last her for awhile as she grows. I will be using 4 weight yarn. How many rows should I do. I know it comes out to be 5 rows per inch with this specific yarn I will be using? I couldn’t find a sizing chart anywhere to help me out. Thank you in advance for any information that you have that could possibly help me.

Just completed all the panels and getting ready to put it together! Made it as a baptism gift for my 9th grandchild. As always, thank you for the wonderful tutorials you do because I've learned to much!!!!

I love this story, I love the dolls . I bought a 46 knitting machine and a 22 knitting machine so I can make some of the projects.. I am a beginner, and I'm glad I came across your tutorials . I will definitely be making this doll. Thank you I love the way you explain everything you are doing.

@@Theknottyworkshop thank you so much! 🥰 Because you don’t have the 32 needle, you can do this as a flat panel over 32 needles then sew up the side to make a tube.

I love it! I just got an Addi knitting machine for Christmas and I'm still learning. I wanted one because I make a lot of hats for charity. I originally crochet, but have been useing a knitting loom to make hats, and I have a question, Do you have to use a drawstring cast-on for the knitting machines? Can you use a straight cast- on (under every needle instead of every other needle? I just wanted to ask before I tried it because I don't want to break my machine.

@@debeadgirl on the projects where we want a straight edge - like this blanket, you don’t use a drawstring cast on. We use waist yarn so that we can easily see the stitches to work the straight edge once the project is off the machine.

Ok, I got my first 20-row section finished. Every row that we add the “yarn over” increases the stitches on that row by 1. So my row stitch number kept changing from yours. When you turn get to the YO, do you treat it as a separate stitch? Or do you stitch it into the one next to it so as not to be increasing the stitch count per row?

@@cathyshafer8962 go to the top right of your screen and click on it. A gear will pop up that allows you to slow it down. Write it out exactly as I go along and it will all work out. There are increases that change the row count but then it changes again as you go along. If you follow exactly as I do t will work out. Promise! Don’t give up. 🙂

Help!! Hi Shelley! How sad is it that I found your most recent video in hopes of catching you? 🙄 I’m a hand knitter who gota Setro for Christmas and kept dropping stitches so spent the last week watching your videos to figure it out. I even bought recommended yarn and dove in to knit a striped 11:33 hat. I 11:33 went fairly slow and and it went perfectly for 60 rows and then the dropped stitches started again 😣. Now after working on fixing I can’t seem to get it right again! I am praying I don’t have to take it all off sweet Jesus! I would’ve emailed but didn’t have your address. sniff I’m a72 yo Nana who’s been knitting for 20 + years

@@jillririe What yarn are you using ? There is a definite learning curve to these machines even when you use the right yarn. The nook of the needle on the Sentro is smaller than the one on the Addi (in my opinion), and sometimes you need a bit more tension to make sure the needle catches the yarn. Other times you need less tension if the yarn has a hard time slipping down the needle to the two little pink teeth. Good yarn, the right tension and the right speed for knitting are the three most important things to focus on. You can do it!

@@marshallmays8171 you can do a flat panel over 22 needles on your larger machine. Then sew it up the sides to create the tube and follow the pattern from there.

Oh these slippers bring back fond memories! my sweet gramma always had a pair exactly like these - and so funny because I bought this exact same yarn today but in the navy colorway - planning to knit one of my sons the flax pattern by tin can knits - but might change my mind and knit up these cute slippers first, lol! 😅

I am brand new at learning how to use my first Sentro machine. I started my first beanie on Wednesday, New Year’s day. A great way to kick off 2025 incorporating a knitting machine instead of completely by hand. Make more items faster. Next step is to include more knitting machines of various sizes. Practice makes perfect!!

Clover makes a circular stitch holder that has a shorter kneedle like a tapestry needle length and a cord that is thinner and more flexible . Game changer.
