Thank you. Sorry to hear about your poor health and resent stroke, I sincerely hope that you recover from it and it doesn't affect your enjoyment of your garden which for the record is larger than mine. God bless you and thanks again for sharing and taking the time to do your videos.

Thank you for sharing this, I would also like to build a copy for my own mower as I am in a similar situation and what a difference it makes to sit out in my garden and not think I wish I could cut the grass.

Hi everyone, Sorry if I haven't replied before to your comments. This Flymo 1200r Robomower Parking Garage or "Bimble" as its loving known by us belongs to my partner, and the garage is "Bimbles House" He is a disabled gentleman whos in his late 60's who cant walk around and has breathing issues. So to walk up and down a small garden and a longer one at the front of his house is a no go for him now SOOO.... The door mechanism was designed by him. I have asked him if he would make more garages as some of you have requested, but due to ill health hasn't got the energy to do them. I will however sit with him and see if he will released design plans. If he will, i will get them drawn out and let you all know. Thank you for your comments and time to watch the video's. :)

whats the point of a robot that costs 1000$ when you can mow your grass in like 5-10 minutes? (im not talking about people with large garden, then the robot comes handy) but for this garden just take out yout lawn mower and start mowing. lmfao

Maybe because some people are not physically able to cut their lawn with a normal mower.

He is a elderly disabled gentleman who cant walk around very well an has breathing difficulties. small garden or not, you try cutting a lawn when in constant pain, cant walk and cant breath. This is perfect for disabled people

Just so you know it only cost me £350 on offer so not 1000$ as you think. Second I can hardly walk and have problems breathing never mine cutting lawns. Since then I have had a stroke as well so before you think about what you can do try thinking about others who are less fortunate than you.

What an ignorant, arrogant , stupid statement. Not all people are physically fit and able to "take out yout" mower. There is an old saying which goes - It is better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you are a twat than to open it and remove all doubt. This applies equally to the written word.

@@anthonycarter5073 I'm going to guess the door is overbalanced and the lawnmower pushes against the bumper mechanism (which looks to be two cupboard rails on opposite walls with a beam extending between) to pull the door shut and it's held shut by the lawnmower staying in the dock. Am I right? Nice design 😀

Did it take long to get the weights and balance for the door, does the rear bar open the door when it leaves the base or does the front push the door open?
