Most of this was filmed in and around Cleveland Gardens in Barnes. I have been reliably informed that Hattie Jacques was waving out of my Auntie Katie and uncle John’s window. Malthouse passage was a few metres down the road cutting through to the river Thames. All of which are still there today. I was only 3 or 4 years old when this was made!

This was played recently at our neighbor's funeral Margaret's funeral was not just a moment of loss, but a celebration of the life she lived and the legacy she leaves behind. As we reflect on her impact, we hold dear the memories wrapped in melodies, knowing that she will always be a part of our hearts, just like that beautiful piece of music that filled the room one last time, echoing her love and spirit. Thank you, Margaret, for everything. You will be missed dearly, but your music will forever play in our hearts.

Of course the 24th Warwicks were an English Regiment at the time although they became the South Wales Borders shortly afterwards - and museum at Brecon is well worth visiting (and the whisky distillery nearby).

I think of my beautiful mom whenever I listen to this song. She loved Foster and Allen. Maggie was one of her favourite songs. I miss her very much and am doing a show in her honour with a celebration of life. I will be singing this song for you momma. I love you forever.

I don't have the means to financialy sponsor you to: change Maggie (=Margaret) pronuntiation, to Magdi (=Magdalena, Magdolna and so on in other languages). Just a simple thing! Same pronunciation, but instead of 2gg's make: gd. (only potato and sling shoot). Just a shocking story bothers me!!!

The terrorist that got out on to the lawn served 28 years in prison. Then got a council flat. Just like the terrorist s who hijacked a plane that landed at Stanstead Airport. Despite the fact they had guns. They got let off. And most of them got housed in Shepherds bush. So much for. Terrorists don't come here. Total joke.

In the Movie “Gladiator” with Russell Crowe the opening scene had Germanic Tribes singing against the Roman Legions. In that opening scene the singing was in fact the Zulu war Chants from the movie Zulu.
