Heard this run uses alt tab to skip some stuff. Can I ask how that works? I may want to apply that to i spy treasure hunt

i actually didnt use alt tab since it was a little finnicky to do throughout the run lmao theres a program called snip & sketch (a little different from snipping tool) and it has a feature to let you snip smth if you press PrtScr i found out that, if you do this, it basically does the same thing as alt tab but with only one button instead of holding two if you do this, just make sure that you dont click on anything while its on the snipping screen bc then it actually exits out of the game whereas if you just press prtscr, it does the snipping screen and then goes back into the game on its own right after also make sure that you do this when you know cutscenes are actually playing if you play on a ""new"" version of windows or whatever, then most of the screen will be black whenever theres cutscenes but in emulators, you can kinda tell since theres a slight border between the crisp backgrounds and the kinda lower quality videos as for it treasure hunt, i didnt do it with my run bc 1. the speedrun rules said that skipping stuff wasnt allowed and 2. i tested it out myself and all it does was delay cutscenes more, like things would get out of sync so

I noticed during the first puzzle a white dot appeared when you clicked a spot before the magnifying glass appeared and showed the object. How does that work? Is it in the original game or something because I’ve never seen that. Also, good job on the run.

thank you!! and no it isnt in the original games its actually a part of my computer bc it has a touch screen, so i used it instead of trying to use my mouse for the magnifiying glass and the binoculars (especially since the binoculars are a pain in the butt to use in general lmao) but yeah the white dot is just me tapping on the screen
