Hey man, I just found your Channel a couple of hours ago and I’ve been binge watching most of your videos, I just wanna say that I see a lot of me in you. I also contradict myself on my videos and how I make them, but I just wanna say that your videos are very beautiful and unique and you should stop overthinking it. This is some advice that I have tried to learn myself as well anyways keep going, man love the videos.

Where did you start? Did you learn to edit first or did you first learn how to film? I’d like to hear about your journey! Rooting for you!

I love how you’re raw and authentic on this video. I think that’s part of being an artist… the work is never “perfect.” Acceptance of that, and simply being vulnerable about that is a work of art in itself. Keep doing more of this!

Just discovered your channel, and needless to say I immediately subscribed. Your content is very inspiring, you give great advice, the videos are simple. Having starting my own channel is couple of weeks ago and struggling a bit with creativity, watching your videos really helps me and pushes me to create more!!

As a filmmaker with a dog with separation anxiety, I definitely know how real that struggle is 😅 I have to remind myself that problem solving is apart of the filmmaking process, even when it comes to managing your personal life and its effects on your creative work. Keep it up!

You feel a lot less crazy when you put in the effort required to turn the audience you're performing for in your head, into an actual audience But in all seriousness - There is something. About photography. About videography. Not strictly from a journalistic standpoint but as an artform. You're putting effort into making things present, how you want them to present - Which, for some (Meaning; Me), can be the kick you need to keep things in perspective Not _always_ performing. Not _always_ presenting. But constantly *seeking.* Seeking that next moment when things *get* to present how you'd like them to That to me is optimism. That to me is romance. And it's a romance that isn't wholly reliant on _someone else_ to spur it forward It has a product. You're _left_ with something at the end of engaging with that process which, for those of us who are practically minded- For those of us who demand an evidence to our hope before placing our stake- may come to be seen as the godsend that it truly *can* be That is to say, keep looking for it. No matter where you're at or who exactly you believe yourself to be in the current moment. Capture, not just images; elevated moments- But _marked_ evidence of your existence.. Because no one *could* capture what you do. By nature of your own hand, you 'have'

Just stumbled across your channel and I'm liking what I see! I find it really refreshing and inspiring on how easy you make it seem while showing us how complicated even the simplest shots can be. I believe that with time it's bound to get more manageable, and now that I say this out loud I should probs take my own advice too lol. Seeing these make me reconsider how I go about documenting the little events in my little life. Great job! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Embrace the shots of your dog! Sometimes our limitations are what makes us unique and can set us apart. I’d lean into the dog shots, film closeups of her etc, because ultimately these videos are about your story and your experience, and she’s part of your story. Everything else you’ll figure out, just keep creating regardless of the hiccups along the way. And I’ll have to take my own advice soon because Im going to start making videos as well and already facing my own challenges lmao

This is so true man. I'm working on a script for a surrealist love story right now and I find myself questioning my own ethos at times. I place expectations on what my work should be, when really at this stage I have no control over such things. The final product will be what it is, and I will try again and again. I saw this vid in my recommended and I knew it would give me a push in the right direction. Thanks for the kind words, and for blessing my eyes <3

Great video. I appreciate the honesty, it's refreshing. I would love to film more, but I too overthink and am too nervous to get the camera out. Quick question, are you not nervous to leave your camera way away from you when you shoot some of those shots?
@DavidColdd2 ай бұрын
@@fayed6909 I’m definitely nervous leaving my camera far away from me but Melisa helps me by just watching it or just standing next. I got used to her watching me do my thing so it works but sometimes when I don’t have her I make sure no one around just to not get stolen. Definitely pay attention at your surroundings

I put the videos on top on each other match the frames by doing screen and match the cameras and zoom in 15 each slowly to match it
