@@kcwax6633 Cheers for Watching Paul did you have a problem with pick up arm I had so I didn't tighten da screw at back left lose so now it picks up took me wk done loads hrs why couldn't pick up and it should had 2 screws at top hold it in place never was only 1 screw that didn't work so I left screw lose it worked you should be able to get it working ask a friend there nice have I only have 1 Repeater cheers for your kind comment 👍 🍻

Thanks. I don't have it any more. I do remember leaving one screw at a time, and then both loose and that did help. You're right.

@@Troupee-Lennon, The Andrew Sisters, did you have that recorded? I did not realize they were making cylinders that late. I’ve loved phonographs since I was kid… But, I just got my first one about 6 years ago for Christmas, a VV-ix. Once we have our Opera restored, I’ll be looking for some version of an Edison Diamond Disc player… other than looking for an early record player to play my 78s from WWII era and later…. With those, I have the cylinders, diamond discs and 78s covered 😁. It is quite a wonderful hobby and have met some truly kind and helpful people. I was hoping to have our Opera operational for our daughter’s wedding this November.

What your hearing is other Grandfather Clocks going off I have 5 them 6 wall Clocks I try keep them min are 2 apart cos of noise this Grandfather clock strikes on hr and half and also has double repeater 2 min past hr it will strike again they all keep perfect timing cheers for watching 👀 👍 😀🍺

@@Troupee-Lennon Merry Christmas to you also, their Diamond Disc player was amazing how loud it could get with decent reproduction. The volume control is a silk bean bag stuffed into the horn. I know you would enjoy that museum it even has the 1st sound projector (non-working) there. The lab, walking tour of his home, grave last time card a week before he died 70 hrs + The building they preserved had 20,000 buildings the talking machines between 1900-1926? .😀!
