Great video. At what mileage it's recommended to do the flush. Mine has 64000 miles and starts having a little bit of waining sound. So I figured it's probably the time for flush

I have an 07 s65 and i test drove an 09 s550 with airmatic and the ride reminded me more of my e class than one of my old Devilles, idk why people say airmatic rides softer than abc because it definitely does not

How do you compare the ride of the hydraulic suspension to the air in the w222? Because before i bought my w221 s65 i test drove a s550 and wasn’t impressed with the ai ride at all, but i love the ride in my s65, id grab a newer s but i think id have to get the amg because I’m used to the quality of the abc suspensions ride

I daily my 07 s65 and it was a little rough when i first got it so i had to invest but overall i cant complain, i knew what i was getting into and it hasn’t been bad, had to do a full tune up but i bought it with 85k, replaced the wheels and tires, body was perfect, interior near perfect, did all the mounts, all the front end parts other than the struts, I love it and dont think ill ever sell it

I just found your channel. You give a lot of good information out, thanks. I just bought a kit to change my accumulators in my new ( to me) 2008 SL55, because, I have a lot of the records and it doesn’t appear to have ever been done in 15 years and 59,000 miles. But, it’s been pretty intimidating, since I’ve never done anything like this. Your video helped move me to a state of confidence that I can successfully do this. So, thanks again, and know that there are people out here who appreciate the effort you make and are hungry for this type of content.

If you take your car to what ever type of repair shop, photograph as much as you can of your car including under the hood (bonnet), trunk (boot) and run a felt tip with squiggly lines on the battery, don't forget your wheels and tyres. Do this just before you go. When you collect your car have a good look around it and see that nothing has been switched for inferior items or damage.

I had a leaking hydraulic line so I got it repaired at a hydraulic shop once I remove it. When I replaced it I didn’t have it tight enough and fluid sprayed everywhere from front left wheel well where the original issue was. I turned car off immediately. Once I tightened it I filled it back up the line didn’t spray from the spot but the car didn’t level out just still see abc light. I was told when pump leaks it shuts off automatically so I was thinking that since it was leaking when I reinstalled hydraulic line incorrectly that it needs to be reset. Any help would be appreciated.
@anamgguy37942 жыл бұрын
I would make sure the lines tight and the fluid is full and let the car run, these systems need to bleed the air out which they do on their own

I like how you casually said I dealt with a misfire for a while! That would drive alot of people nuts and will definitely not like the car. This generation of S65 are not that reliable. Yes definitely not as bad as people say but still not that reliable

If you're buying an 8 year old W222 would you rather have ABC or Airmatic system?
@anamgguy37942 жыл бұрын
I have a 2015 S65 with ABC I prefer it over airmatic
@MartiniPinballАй бұрын
222 both systems are generally much better than previous gens, it's primarily ease of maintance. Airmatic is cheaper because it's a pneumatic system. Far cheaper to maintain thna a hydraulic system.

I'm curious tho does the gas petal have to be down or can I get down there and manually press it? I got a 03 s600 and been noticing hard shifting, I was going to take out the valve body and replace those sleeves with the ones that have o rings along with the harness connector that's prone to leaking, but maybe this could be just what I need. Really hate it how I don't have a dip stick tho 😂 really grinds my gears that Benz would do that. They just want you to go to the dealer.
@anamgguy37942 жыл бұрын
There is a universal dipstick for the 5 speed cars you can get one on amazon, and yes the pedal has to stay down pressing the kick down button
@jdrandoms96272 жыл бұрын
I believe the rts had the same trans too the nag1 rt magnums rt chargers and 300s had them should be the same as the 722.6 trans out of the Mercedes. I owned a 07 charger and a 05 magnum and both had the same trans but didn't have a downshift button below the gas pedal, could be different with the 6.4 srt versions tho.
