Hi, they are still installed and mostly not running anymore because I changed the speakers and the new ones are not so power hungry. But I installed the same type of fans (hydrodynamic bearing) in my main router and that runs 24x7 for few years now and it works like a charm. And even before changing the speakers when they were starting you could not hear these new ones. I still think noctua fans are very good (hence the price tag)

Anything changed after the fans replacement?

@@alexanderbelov6892 Дружище,их не слышно вообще,а на минимальной громкости они не включаются,а старые реально выбешивали этим пищанием и скрежетом... Пробовал погонять на приличной мощности ,чтобы включились и сразу выключил сигнал,короче еле еле слышно если прям ухо к корпусу прикладывать.

@@игорьперейма-б9е Что-ж отлично. Похоже осталось выбрать вентиляторы на замену. Я так понял нужен вентилятор с гидродинамическим подшипником. Те вентиляторы, что стоят в A-300 - не ищутся в поиске. То есть noname из подвала.

​@@игорьперейма-б9е В итоге поставил GlacialTech GT ICE 7 аналогичные по размеру 70мм оригинального, и на порядок дешевле. Винты пришлось заменить на M3x30мм. Наконечники проводов в разъёмах напаял заново из запаса. Но если запаса/магазина с деталями нет, то можно разогнуть те что есть, старые провода отпаять, новые напаять. Жёлтый провод изолировать (у меня термоусадочная трубочка в запасах).

Hi, noctua doesn't have anu 70 mm fan. I went with 60x20 mm and now i removed the ulna adaptor as my amp is inside a poor vented cabinet and was still getting hot(in the meantime i changed the speakers to shelf and these are never warming the amp ) As for the glue, not sure how well it will stick to the metal part. You should still use a screw on one side or some other way of fixing it. Enjoy it as it's a hard to beat amp for the price

Not sure how they were set initially but since the heatsink is not open i put the current fans to blow air onto them. I suppose the original design would've been the same.

@@ewu2030 thanks. Generally I think fans blow air in the direction of the motor....hence I too presume the fans blow air onto the heatsinks.

I am not sure since emotiva uses the voltage directly to control the speed. In pwm you have a dedicated wire for that. But I suppose it should work as well since the ulna adaptor is simply a resistance added to the wire to decrease voltage. For simplicity I would go with the regular 3 wire fan but if you already have it, you can test it with a 12v power supply and see if it works before cutting the wires.

I got the fans from a local retailer...so the link is not really useful. Search for Noctua's fans with fluid bearing. You won't find any that will fit the current holes but you can glue them to the chassis with a glue gun. If you send it they will use the same fans, but i've heard that for some people it lost the odd noise. In the meantime I've replaced my speakers and now the fans never start because these are much easier to drive.
