Much more of a "Truck Roll" entry to the back than a Berimbolo (a suggestion for the algorithm). The Berimbolo specifically begins from bottom De La Riva. That said, I love this technique and need to get back to trying and testing it. This entry also gives me fits staying connected with my "twister hook". Good training guys!!

Somewhere along the trail coming back from Virginia Falls. I don't remember the exact location but it was close to Virginia Falls.

So much of this is a mental battle. It's not natural to ride any kind of bike directly at something knowing that normally you'd go straight over the handlebars. Once you clear your first little log like this (which looks HUGE the first time) you'll progress quickly. I had a very kind chap and trials facility owner take time out of his working day to show me how to do this and I cleared quite a decent sized log (only 18" or so lol) after about 10 tries. Just that one success made me realise it wasn't impossible, A real turning point and now I enjoy practice so much more.

Yeah a 4:1 recovery system wouldn’t be any help solo…in fact you are better off without it and just dig the bike out with your hands and lift the hundreds of pounds yourself…. That’s sarcasm in case you missed it.

Hideo wanted a big name actor to play Snake and also didn't like how Hayter was sort of 'the face' of the franchise, at least in the English speaking world and not him.

Yeah, it was a great ride. The water crossings and some deep sand (not shown in this vid but on a longer one that I uploaded) were the more technical stuff that we rode. Polar Bear was a great event. A friend of mine came down from Gainesville, GA to ride, so coming from Valdosta is a no brainer!

@@drklynoonrides6674 what's the SEAT? Haven't heard of that and my Google-fu isn't returning anything useful. The next CADS event is the Trans-Florida Rally. I haven't ridden that yet but I hear it's fun as well. But Polar Bear was nice because you're doing day rides from a camp spot (i.e. riding a lighter bike) whereas with Trans-FL you're carrying all your gear.
