Nice size for the beach! 👌 I used to fish out Pt Leo on the Mornington peninsula for gummy's with only eels, now I'm in the highlands but planning a night out to Seaspray on the 90 mile beach soon. Have you ever fished those water's?

Hey mate I'm from up north and frequently fish the tamar in my tinny and if anything like what that guy did to you ever happen to me I feel like I would react way worse then you did I would even say you let them off easy doing stuff like that is completely unacceptable and dangerous

Yea I know it’s a pretty crap example, I tend to keep my cool as if you are trying to publish yourself online if you react your always the worse person. Unfortunately it just come down to the fact some people get there boat liscense because you can’t fail and have no clue about courtesy

@fishinstraya that is true unfortunately I've had similar things happen before but the other people were only in little boats and have still probably been 40 to 50 metres away so it's not been to much trouble all we can hope is that they do it to the wrong person one day and end up with some expensive fines all that matters is we stay out on the water fishing and have a good time

That was a nice river trout. Good to see! A few of the notable trout rivers down south have had enormous pressure from cormorants and have fished poorly for a few seasons now. Keep up the good work!

the rivulet has some little trout, the Derwent often has sea runners and bigger browns further up, like new Norfolk area. 👍

Try trolling deep divers around the salmon schools. I used to target kings in middle harbour in Sydney, just rats up to 5kg on Manns 5 plus pilchard pattern, the Kings lurk deeper! Hi Xabi

hi fishin straya, im going to be coming down for a holiday during june this year and will hopefully be going fishing. i will probably buy a $30 rod in tas. Any locations near hobart or Launceston for bream or trout fishing. would u recommend lures or bait.
