What are things I like about that bike is the long stem in the front and the wide handlebars at least Genesis put two bolts on that stem for the handlebars those Kenda tires really rock

I recall you were saying that it was the bottom bracket that went if you grab both the pedals they function but they are loose they move together then that can be tightened their it's a video about that several of them they're pretty easy I'm just waiting to pick up a large pair of vice grips so I can do a repair you just need a wrench vise grips hammer and a screwdriver well I don't really know the condition of your bottom bracket I was thinking if that was the case then you could revive this bike otherwise you could put it back together as much as he could as long as you have the receipt for 3-year warranty you could get another one the updated version it has a replaceable derailleur hanger different breaks weider handlebars in a 4-bolt stem

The sheet reminded me of one thing a homemade seat cover to cover the aged Cushing the seat I suppose it really wouldn't matter how it looked underneath so one could do it with an old black T-shirt or an old cheap leather coat from a thrift store another thing that I've done I wanted to tell you about I made a strap by cutting 4 holes in an old 700 CC inner tube and I put a flashlight from Dollar general they've got these ones that are two double a batteries in a actually light up a path that you can actually see where you're going I've spent more for the rest of the lights but those they are actually so people can see me riding at night I want to be lit up like a Christmas tree if possible

About the only thing I can think of to improve it right now would be a decent set of pedals other than that I think you're going to have this one for a long time

I just recently had fixed the huffy Highlander it's got a lot of customization and it's got aluminum hand grips now aluminum pedals spoke covers and a few other the best thing it was that I fixed it it was basically drunk now the owner doesn't want it anymore the bills $25 I'm thinking he offered to sell it to me we'll figure out a price I'll use it for an extra bike for people that want to ride along with me

Those bolts that hold the movable are the bikes are hard to come by so therefore I would just keep this frame if you need those parts perhaps someday you will get the 2900 going again didn't have a cracked frame I'm not sure if I remember

I have the M2 ridge I was looking at a vibe undecided to get the ridge a few weeks later I purchased a Ozark trail vibe the second version the new model the differences wider handlebars in a 4-bolt two better hold on those bars the casino shifters are the same as well as the slip-on grips which I think are nice enough I was thinking about putting on a pair of Ozark trail black lock on grips I already put on a good set of aluminum flat pedals which are quite an improvement I recall on your vibe the bottom bracket looking at your tires I would say you easily had 650 moderate to hard miles on there the bike is currently assembled at the bicycle corporation of America plant in South Carolina it still is a subsidiary of Kent bicycles which the only clue may be the 800 number indicated on a decal I think of my bottom bracket went bad I would replace it with a sealed cartridge system I would have also update to a front 40 tooth ring in the front at the same time that's what the original bike like yours has I heard it was a better drivetrain well I really like my vibing so does everyone that has taken it for a ride really likes it I do as well as well I'm still pounding the pavement in trails with my old Mongoose excursion 29

Hey man. If you think these bikes ride nice, save up a little and find a nice used Specialized Rockhopper. You’ll never look back at these cheap throwaway bikes. I have a $300 GT Aggressor Pro, $550 Cannondale Trail 8, and a $2400 Specialized Fuse Sport. The Cannondale rides much better than the GT. And the Specialized rides MUCH better than both.

I'd never buy or recommend a Genesis bike. Bad as a Huffy or Hyper bike. Rear shock is like a pogo. No dampening.
