Approx 1994? BBC Radio 1, Portishead did a guest mix for Annie Nightingale The Chill Out Zone approx 2:00am Sunday program - they used a whole lot of 70s theme tunes from the likes of Vegas, - it was great, with no interruptions - I can't remember exactly how long it ran for, but was at least 30mins possibly more. Does anyone know if it is possible to hear these old programs again?

Went to ATP 2010 and saw Portishead twice. Driving back to NY from NJ through rural Pennsylvania and we stop at a gas station. A veritable redneck dude standing next to a pickup truck sees us and starts a conversation. We tell him we’re driving back from a concert and he asked who we saw. “Portishead.” I think about his reply almost everyday. “PORNOHEAD? WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT?”

Every time I think of a song or an old set, there hasn’t been one that you don’t have ❤️ but one I’ve never been able to find, it was a Talla2xlc set. I ripped it to cd and some drunk ass stepped on and broke it in my car. All I remember from it was within the first handful of minutes there was a kind of deep voice, “never let,” or, “don’t ever let.” Maybe it was a crap set and all I liked was the intro lol but I’m pretty sure it was good.
