“Out here in the fields, I fought for my meals.” That part always makes me cry. It reminds me of those dark days of living in poverty and literally having to fight people just to get a bite to eat. I’m now in a better place, but I always make sure to never forget about those days of being a young man and struggling to get by.

When Allen Collins from this band died of a heart attack in 1990 I was born at day 9 of April. Weird... and wanting my complete freedom from society's bullshit is kinda one of the themes of my life. Hm... oh and this is a great song too. Love it.

Am I the only person who hears the opening harmonies and is tempted to sing along with the Christmas song "Angels We Have Heard on High"...? Gloria in Excelsis Deo!

This song takes me back to when my parents were young. Blues was their music. Bobby Blue Bland. Blues is so rich and earthly. All the great blues men and women are pretty much gone now. They left us all this rich music.

This song reminds me of very sad times in British history Laura abiding gun owners give up their firearms while criminals are allowed to roam free in London because the police are too busy because somebody’s miss gender the transvestite on the London underground. It’s a shame if only some of these draconian gun laws hadn’t been introduced there would’ve been fewer terrorist attacks.

Hello. I'm very sorry to read your story about your love of your life, Bev. I have mild/moderate Parkinson's Disease. Although, I'm at a different stage from Bev with this disease I know how dibilatating it can be. This song is my all time favorite, it truly identifies all the feelings that you have inside yourself when you are in love with that special someone. I too, have the love of my life at my side. My heart goes out to you both. God Bless You, Bev. And May God Bless You.

I can't recall exactly what year this song came out, but I'm sure that someone here will. 66, or 67... I was 11 or 12. I still know every single word of this song. It was very powerful for a 12 year old boy in love with a girl he went to church with; just saying. Great song!!
