A great effort. I like the climate crisis fictions as they encourage the readers to take care of the natural environment.

Can I add that Phyllis's mother was Minnie Tookey not Edith Tookey. Edith was William Tookey's 2nd wife and they had no children together. Edith was much younger than William. William and Minnie had Phyllis and 2 boys, Geoffrey Tookey QC and Alan Oliver Tookey (my maternal grandfather) See Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phyllis_Margaret_Tookey_Kerridge#Early_life_and_education

This is my Great Aunt - Camilla and my mother, Jill Fone (Tookey) was Phyllis's niece. Thank you for telling her incredible story and shining a light on her work. I am pleased to say that the campaigning side of Phyllis Tookey Kerridge's genes continues down the generations with my sister Camilla's work creating SUDC (Sudden Unexpected Death in Children);the UK arm of the USA charity - following the unexpected death of her 2nd son Rex in February 2015 aged just 21 months. My mother Jill Tookey CBE (Phyllis's niece) work creating the National Youth Ballet of Great Britain giving incredible performance opportunities to young people between the age of 8 and 18, in 1996. And my own work campaigning for women's equal opportunities in the work place particularly in the Marketing, Communications and Sports sector since 2004 through my B corp certified business f1. My niece Ella Rummery (Camilla Fone's) daughter goes to Brown Univerity in Boston in Aug 2024 to read Engineering. Lets see what she achieves during her life!

Absolutely gutting that John has passed far too young. So pleased he won this major lifetime award last year before his tragic death.

Awesome story. So so good. Id say more, but it would just sound silly after the gravity of this masterpiece.

Russia didn’t invade the Donbas, the Russian population was already there. They were denied to exercise their cultural and political rights, and they were harassed and attacked. You cannot ask for rights by denying the rights of others.

You seemingly fail to grasp the difference between state activity and diaspora. Next you'll be saying you've never heard of Westphalia. Looking forward to your evidence of oppression against Russian speakers by Kyiv. Your apologist stance is increasingly desperate, with nil moral justification.

My favorite thing about Willy's writing is his Character development. His books, as well as his lyrics always bring characters to life for me.

Enjoyed the story but not sure that it mirrors Slim's descent in the song. Not that it needs to of course but, I think I prefer that he had an okay life rather than the Slim who needed a cup of coffee in a bad way and wanted to get out of a town that's got nothing it's clear.
