Thinking how cool this tune would sound driving a 'Ford Victoria' back in '56 .

Heard about this version while watching The Madame Blanc Mysteries Series Season 3 Ep4 28:17. One of the main character is wearing a Sunshine Of Your Love t-shirt and was asked which version of the song she liked best. I'm glad I took time to look it up. ty for sharing it with us. 💐

I have the same record, original from 1975, pretty scratched tho since I used to play it on 78 RPM speed for fun when I was a little a kid and I didn't know better, LOL!

The Isley Brothers remained supreme within the Motown stable. One of the lesser known songs but much like, "Tell me its just a rumour", pure Gold.

Bad thing is, I thought all the huge variety of incredible rock music, Motown stuff, and Funk would last forever back in the seventies. With few exceptions, it went way downhill for talent on instruments, unique singer voices, and songwriting ability. MTV started killing it off, followed by the digital crap and downloads, then the computer era of record it at home and who needs a record company. To include auto voice tuning because people can't sing. But at least the real stuff still exists and I can still listen to it at 66. 😊
