I bought this plane lol. It's sitting in my building
@waynemiller6070Ай бұрын
I wish I had seen this before assembling my SW 67 laser. The build is almost identical but there was very little guidance. You did some things I wish I would have done. The maiden is this week! I'm pretty excited.

Hi, thank you for your valuable video. I am not a 3D pilot, I carry out sport flights with some 3D figures. Could you tell me the recommended CG and the right excursions for low rate and high rate of this model? A thousand thanks. Maurice.

I was getting worried that the plane was never coming out of the box lol
@alwaysflying65404 ай бұрын
You don't need to reset the esc they are programmed from factory. You need to calibrate your throttle so the esc can learn your throttle stick endpoints. It takes only a few minute's.

How do you like this one? Have you flown any other 39" models? Looking for my first and im considering this crack yak or the super extra L or the 40" cracked pitts

I love it. I have not flown the other 39 in models. You can’t go wrong with any of them.

Nice overview, just got the SW Yak 54 PNP myself. Just very bad practice to calibrate/change ESC settings with the prop mounted! If people follow along, please don't follow that step and remove the prop first. These props on 6S will send you to the ER within a blink.
@upwardrc4 ай бұрын
Yep totally agree. I should have done that. If you mess up and get the motor reversed or something with the prop on you will be in big trouble.

Why. I use apc without issue
@waynemiller6070Ай бұрын
Personally I like APC props. And the laser I just got looks like it's APC but it isn't. It's a wood prop painted grey. Are you happier now?

I don't think this plane hovers very easily. You do a great job. I have this plane, and I find it is a little bit Squirrley. I thought it was going to be one of my favorite airplanes. But it is not. My future is definitely bigger airplanes.

I see that you have the EFLITE EXTRA 300 and the FLEX INNOVATIONS EXTRA 300. I have flown flat wing profile foams with some success. I want to get better at 3D in a smooth, slow, deliberate style. NOT blasting around, tearing up the entire sky. Out of the two airplanes, which one would you suggest. Right now, I'm not nearly the pilot that you are, but would like to advance my skills. Which airplane would you suggest as a next stepping stone to get to that point. Let me know please. THANKS.

Great video. I really want this airplane, but I'm hearing a few questionable things with it. I hear that in flight trimming is NOT possible due to the AURA 8 Stabilizer. also, I'm hearing that the motors go bed quickly on these airplanes. Can you tell me if these things are true. THANKS.
