Big bear Tom. 😊. Such a good band. I was a stage hand in Cochrane, AB and had the treat of helping rig up the stage for these guys. They did a kick ass version of Fred Eaglesmith's song, 49 Tons. As they were starting into it, big Tom with his kick drum of a voice directs Lucas to kill the lights and then asked me to close the side door leading to the greenroom so that the only light in the concert hall came from the exit signs, the power switches on their amps, and the mixing board at the front of house. Then they kicked it into gear with Colin ripping on a resonator, and Stephen taking over vocals. They brought the house down. What a blast and what a memory. 😊

Ouch and it hurt ever so deep.. But at least we can still feel the pain. For the pain was our truth...

It's curious to think about how once we say goodbye to our friends without knowing it was going to be the last time.
