Just finished my HD Riders Academy.... Never rode a two wheel bike in my life prior to this. As soon as the class was over and everyone passed, the sales manager & one of the associates aggressively tried selling me this bike! 😲

Nubian! Congratulations on passing the class, you about ready to take your journey out on them two wheels let me give you some good advice don't let the salesman push anything on you. Most of the time they motivated to sell the most expensive bike they can make sure the bike fits you and you like it. Test ride them and compare!!!!

@@Bigvernsmotolife ....I am 6'2", 230lbs. and when I got on the bike at the dealership it did fit me well I can't lie. I didn't feel cramped on it. I guess I was unsure if it was too much bike power wise for a new rider... I do have my 3-wheel endorsement but I am new to 2-wheelers. I have been told many times, "get the bike you want and learn it." instead of a traditional "starter bike"...So I guess I am confused as to what direction to go.... Thanks for the advice, your channel is awesome!!!

Sport mode is awesome. Kept me at the gas station to often lol will suck you dry. Road mode for me lol. Love my bike. It's light and nimble. I moved my bars all the way up. Perfect. Good content bro

Yessir!!! I totally agree with you sport mode will run that gas tank dry!!! Road mode is definitely the best it is a good in between, that's a great idea to put those bars all the way up I think I'm going to adjust mine's also do you feel pretty comfortable with them pushed up?

@@Bigvernsmotolifeyes moving them up put them right at shoulder length for me. That seat tho, I've went on long miles on it. It was uncomfortable for me after 100 miles or so. Around town it's great. I went with the road sofa. Better comfort for me. If you do want a bike that's ready to roll tho and you don't have to do anything to it if you don't want to. The 2024 Road Glide is it.

I prefer the matte black for a sleeper look. Gloss plastic is just matte plastic with church clothes on anyway.

I took my bike in for the recall. And had them check to make my OS was up to date. I had 3 updstes available one was for the radio. The radio is trash but it does sound better since the uodate.

i don't really know how to communicate on youtube but... as far as painting the inner fairing, $1000 seems like a lot. i have a painter in my town that does items like this and i don't know for sure but i have to believe it would be less than the $1000. as far a t-bar set ups go, i am not that familiar with the makers out there. i do my research on youtube for these type parts. (i few years ago, i bought a road glide as my first HD. i came with an early T-bar set up and i loved it.)

Great advice. Do you sell for cash only? Im hesitant to take a check unless i go to bank with buyer and get a certified check.

George, I will do cash!!! I take the customer to the bank and have them count it with their automated counter that way it will tell if it is legit or not so you can have peace of mind. The best way is to get a certified check but a lot of buyers will prefer cash if the bike is not expensive

I love your ideas minus the color match inner fairing. I have a gloss black and have no problem, but my friends complain about the glare with bright color matched fairings

Journey, I totally agree with you because I would go with the gloss black inner fairing like they used to do on the Road Glide Specials, I believe it would be a lot of glare from all that blue I think the black would break it up nice but there are some people who do like that color match, but I agree with you I would definitely go gloss black

They have filler pieces that cover the overflow bottle for the coolant and you can get them paint matched too it hides it nice

You're right I saw those online and I will look into that they look pretty good I think you're going to have to buy a frame and strip the interfering down and install it for those to work. But that's a great idea on your part I just wished Harley would have given us a little bit more I understand the bike starts at 26k but that's still a lot of money. The things you dont like are the reasons the bike is 26k. A CVO comes with better paint, better stereo, etc. Your bike is extreme nice!! Cheers!!

The stock stereo is worthless. I don't think just because you don't pay 50k for a CVO it shouldn't be functional lol. Even after I upgraded to a much taller windshield, I could not hear it at full volume going 45MPH.

Harley forces you to make upgrades which in turn makes them more money they do this on purpose when they are advertising these bikes all of them have the amenities that we all want it but the stock ones are stripped down

I'm going to also upgrade to the Rockford Fosgate system I heard one in person and it sounds really good crystal clear it's just a shame that your wife had to spend that extra money that could have been another upgrade Elsewhere on the bike. i like it. #1 get a engine guard to match the bag guards. #2 T bar set up. you know HD went cheap in the paint department. i am sure you can get the inner fairing, oil guard and heat guards painted

I agree with you both it!!! is absolutely worthless, but I think the face is great it's more less the cheap speakers and the weak amp, I have heard some nice systems with the Rockford Fosgate setup with the stage 4 it's really nice

Are you aware that you can remove the black cover on the side panels? The black cover that is by the passenger pegs. It will expose more of that blue burst paint.
