Clear Lake doesn’t flood. There is an article out detailing how other communities are trying to copy on how well Clear Lake took the rain from Hurricane Harvey.

It's not going to get any better until they vote out the Democrat DA and mayor who focus on prosecuting people who protect themselves instead of putting the criminals away.

Humble area is not so bad. Most places is about a block or railroad track away from hood life. There are low lifes and affluent all on a regional area. It’s like the wild Wild West over here. The good, the bad and the ugly. Criminals are starting to learn that they run the risk of trying to show out in these parts. Like grand puba and kid would sing… a little of this and little of that… live your life.

Nice Review. However, the stock footage of downtown must be from the ‘early 90s. Multiple high rise buildings have been constructed in the last 10 years.

I live in North Montrose inner city of Houston about a mile from Downtown. Safe and lots of restaurants, parks and theater close to us. Still a work in progress though. You're right about Galleria area. It seems to have declined recently.

"Great flood of '94" is one of the worst floods ever recorded in Houston history. Pretty much everything between White Oak bayou (Porter/New Caney) and the San Jacinto river literally sank, spanning as far east as Huffman and as far south as FM1960 on the other side of the river. There was an old neighborhood, Forest Cove, wedged between Kingwood & the San Jacinto that was completely washed all the way into Lake Houston that was only recently redeveloped. I'd rate it worse than Allison in '01 since it took nearly 2 weeks for all the water to drain off after the rain stopped, whereas Allison flooding had mostly run off within a couple of days. We've never experienced flooding like that ever before or since that ever lasted anywhere close to that long.

Huber Restorations here in Tulsa, OK "make" some of the finest cars for ANYONE. They "runstore" 1965-1984 land-yachts with 21st Century suspensions and modernized fuel-injected high compression non-cat-con 400+ HP engines that get 35+ MPG highway with modern Tremec transmissions from the "Big Three" automakers. About all that is OEM is the sheet metal. I drove one of their 1971 Buick Electra 225 sedans for a week and instead of 180 HP and 270 ft/lbs. it had 470 HP and 635 ft/lbs and a 9 speed tranny and gave 29 MPG CITY and handled like a Hellcat. It should, it had a Hellcat front end! $231,000 FOB Tulsa.Iron liner alloy 7.6L direct injection dual OHC 4 valve per cylinder V-8, air suspension, quieter than a library, Mark Levinson Audio, and GPS, but NO gim-cracks, all "hot bulbs" replaced by leds, NO engine driven water, fuel, oil pumps, all electric, dual alternators, four wheel Brembos, top speed (limiter) 150 MPH. Optional V rated FISK steel sidewall radials ($2000 EACH!) made in Germany.

After hearsts 18 wheeler flew over d Road to hit my car, I was hospitalised unconscious with broken face, chest and leg, hearsts men and insurance men came to disturb me and behaved aggressively prompting Dr Parameswara to tell me tt I wld be killed after my discharge from d hospital in Houston. They sent 4 kkk to brutalise, terrorise and made 9 attempts to kill me secretly and jailed me on 3 false charges by d Harris County Court. God sent Dr Wayne Clark from S California to pray for me and a stream of the Fire of God flowed into me. God added d fire to the golden censer (me) and OVERTURNED it on d earth. God gave me a vision somewhat similar to Ez 9 and gifted me with the 6 weapons /angels /plagues :wind, water, fire, earth, pestilences and wars (judges 9, d first such retribution of the release of devils causing wars and Americans terrorising Americans was 911).

Thanks for the weather / neighborhood impact video. I live on the north side of I-10 a few minutes drive from Memorial City Mall area. My neighborhood of Spring Branch has seen flooding in some low lying pocket areas. My home has not been damaged by flooding , but some streets just a few blocks away have not fared as well. During a few thunderstorms lasting more than a couple hours some streets have become impassible but drainage usually subsides within a couple hours....if you can wait out the storms. Always safest to be prepared. One of my favorite sayings is..." If the weather forecast says a 20 % chance of rain.......it might mean a 20% chance of DROWNING...if you are in the wrong spot ".

I've been living in Humble Tx. for about 3 years now. The Deerbrook mall is literally walking distance from my home. Myself, previously living in the Spring / Cypress Station area... Humble Tx seems really laid back to me. Yes, there's crime everywhere you go nowadays, but Humble Tx. isn't the worst place that I've lived in by far. Lol
