The American/English idiom at 1:38:06 “cat on a hot tin roof” is probably here to replace a Chinese idiom that references anxiety. Translator usually do that in order to avoid confusion and too many footnotes. I also wondered why there’s so many sayings that I know and that’s one of the reasons why. It’s just easier to switch out one for another with a similar meaning.
