The therapist is really passive aggressive, cowardly and self absorbed, as well as not professional.

I am in the same situation right now... so I went to youtube to see if others had this experience. I told my therapist about all the emotional abandonment I have experienced lately.... and she does the same! So unprofessional and rude!

People with BPD seldom are capable of seeing their part in their own suffering. They trust rarely, and In romantic relationships, they invalidate their partners. Symptoms other than the obvious mood swings are, unstable relationship patterns, intense emotions, invalidating partners emotions, refusal to take accountability. Borderline relationships start out with the person who has BPD putting their partners on a pedestal, followed by the devaluation phase. BPD patients struggle with object relation in relationships. DBT has been helpful in helping people overcome these Mal adaptive behaviors. My ex fiance has BPD and she just could not see how much pain she was causing me. She refused to accept that she needed help. Borderlines abuse most of the people that are close to them, therefore they only have small circles of friends.
