Hi Bryce Just wondering can you put an instrumental version of that deep heartfelt esoteric guitar riff used on film BiG Sur It affected me greatly The one from Barbicon 2012 put on youtube -somehow vocals ruin the beautiful emotion of just the music Id love to hear just the instrumental Cant find it anywhere Whats the title of it ? You should try and bring that out again The souldead doomed world needs it JUST THE MUSIC

This is great , I wonder how instrumentals will play on the national's next album, trouble will find me was my favorite, and it was so different , Matt's singing voice was altogether different in most of the songs ,this is great. I love Bryce's compositions.

Currently I am at University away from my twin brother. Hearing "Jumeaux" illuminated the connection I have been missing so much. The melodic progression of this song encapsulates the interaction and relationship that is so unique to twins. The patterns of sound follow each other yet differ in a way which complements the other. I've never heard what it feels like to be a twin. I am absolutely mesmerized with "Jumeaux", is there any way to download or buy it? I know no one will probably see this, but thank you

This is so innovative. The contrast between the sound of an electric guitar and a string quartet surprisingly blend because of the skill of writing and performance.
