For me the problem is not difficulty, it´s just the fact that these games seem to have absolutely no story, it´s just "fight boss. Fight stronger boss. Fight even stronger boss. The end". I don´t remember watching a single video about Dark Souls or Elden Ring where people mention how amazing or captivating the lore is, or how they fell in love with this or that character. Nope, it´s always hack, slash, roll, repeat. Whats the point

For me it’s trying to complete tasks by myself when there are lots of people camping :( I get nervous when trying to go to high traffic areas. There’s only so many angles I can check and i can’t see through bushes. I don’t get a lot of time to play so I try not to throw away raids lol. Any tips for this? I know this video is sorta old but I recently purchased it as someone who has never played any souls game before and I've had a blast so far. If you're genuinely terrible at gaming and just do it a little bit here and there then sure don't get it but if you have decent gaming experience in any genre and elden ring piques your interest I highly recommend it. If you run into something too hard just leave and come back later when you're stronger. Its definitely a difficult game but it's not overwhelmingly difficult.

Yes, not boss, but first camp of npcs. I was so bored and annoyed i tried to start this game 4 times. Never did it past that first camp. Unistalled and soled my copy to some poor fella for 20$. The annoying part for me is that I don't care about losing gear, what I fear are the loud noises happening out of nowhere, the fear that someone is looking at me at all times, and the fear that I could get in a fight and it be over so quickly that I don't learn anything. I know that every death is a win, but it takes so long to get back into the game to apply what you learn that it just feels painful, unlike games with respawns where I can quickly apply something I learn in a match

They kill me instantly even if i shoot first and always know where i am, i watch their kill can and think how is this possible?! Fully maxed loadout gun makes no difference, they headshot me instantly. Thinking of battlefield 2042 now.

Im here 2 years later looking into the recoil just before the new changes and i really hope they sort this out, it’s ridiculous and you can tell that the devs have never shot a real gun in their life, the bullets should go pretty much bang on where the sight is aiming and the ‘spread’ should come from recoil. I feel like they do this stuff to close the skill gap but it just makes the guns feel really shit and annoying
