This the worst shit i ever seen

You know how bad Star Trek Discovery is when The Orville, the show that was supposed to parody Star Trek, ends up being MORE Star Trek-ish than any of their shows in the past decades!

I went back and watched the Last of Us season 2 trailer and Rob is right, it does look pretty good. I am confused though as I've never played the games. The showrunner mentioned last year that season one followed the story of the first game, and that season 2 and 3 would follow the story of the 2nd game. Now, my understanding is that Joel dies at the beggining of the second game but is clearly a big part of this trailer and I'm assuming, of the season. So is this season really more what happens in between the first game and the second game?

it's Woke Trek. But you can also look at Picard and you see the issues. Those shows are not Star Trek shows as they break hard with the tradition of what Star Trek is. But when you go into the past and look at when it started...DS9 was already not really Star Trek anymore. As DS9 was turned into a story driven show with esoteric believes and a way too strong focus on baseball with a time travelling nonsense. I think DS9 ended as being fantasy of a writer of the 60th? I mean the writer of DS9 was probably from the 60th. But you know. TSO was original. Sure. TNG was what defined Star Trek for most of us...old dogs. DS9...failed hard. Viewership proved that from what I heard. Voyager was also good. Well...and then we are in the new age. Of new tried of Star Trek movies and new modern shows. ...damn I completely forget Enterprise. It's always bad when going back into time and...showing weak solutions. Star Trek once was inventing the next tech and showing the weaknesses. With Enterprise...it had already outdated tech as it was on TV. But TSO? Damn. The communicator. How often it just interrupts Kirk on sensitive diplomatic conversations. The all the time available communicator in TSO was 100% like a smartphone. You get constantly bombarded with unimportant nonsense calls in the worst times possible. I can remember Kirk talking with a delegation and Scotty calling him saying that the Engine works at 100%. It's soo much how smartphones are. Enterprise never got that. And so much yes. this story is only about Burnham. The hateful Burnham who hates everyone and can't accept anything else than her happy ending. But it remembers me on the "new" Star Trek movies about the TSO enterprise. There the story is also very much about Kirk and not about the Enterprise. Well...it's about many of the bridge crew. But from the view of each crewmember and not the ship. TSO had the enterprise and the ship had a crew. New shows and movies is all about the people. Could also be a weak soap opera. And the ending. Is just soooooo bad. Burnham lives on a planet for her own perverted self with 2 slaves and alien deers that are murdered when not sick? Yes slaves. Burnham gives her husband and son not one inch space for themselves and even the animals had to follow her commands. The problem of Burnham from the beginning was her not being happy with herself. And until the end the only way to resolve it is by making her the master of everyone. Even nature. It's a horrible show.

Was very happy that I saw this being filmed. My love of Trek comics runs from Gold Key #1 right through to present. Jackson and Collin have made Trek very fresh, with comics being the perfect medium, and I look forward to everything they're bringing into the future. Thanks for getting this posted!

If I want to watch a bunch of emotional people that all they do is talk about feelings then I will watch Star Trek Discovery. I can't believe we are in Season 6 for this crap show. They can do much better.

I didn’t have high expectations after the dismissal season 1. And after 2 episodes this season it’s on par with season 1. The venom goo monster was a mess. The wolf dog gag was dreadful. Elves don’t have beards, and should generally all have long hair. No one is likeable, everything is forgettable. The sets look cg, the actual sets look like stage sets. It reminds me of The Hobbit and the mess that Trilogy was. Very disappointing.

I've been hearing the complaints about Voyager, I have good memories of it, it was the first one I ever watched, when I was a kid, watched it through again in my 20s once. I've rewatched a few episodes, and frankly, it's still pretty good. The hate for it is unjustified. I watched the premier, and Janeway was right for destroying the array, and did not have time to rig a timed explosion, they were losing to the Kazon, and reinforcements were on the way.

I agree with your synopsis of Star Trek Discovery. I'd add that it's characters are mostly "?" sexual. Star Trek had a "bi-racial" kiss; Discovery almost promotes "multi" sexuality. In real life, it's OK; but it's not entertainment. Also, it added absolutely NO content to the show.

I wasn’t a fan of the massive time jumps/character replacements in Season 1 but Season 2 like you said feels like nothing was really accomplished. It’s over like a month of time and feels more just an entire season setting up Season 3.

The burn was STD's way of saying "Feelings are the most important thing in the universe, look even dilithium crystals are sensitive to peoples feelings."

You can tell you guys aren't up on the Original Secret Wars saga and recent one either. There are characters in both that could answer so many questions and solve the multiverse problems. Loving the discussion. Keep it up!

Lol when I said the Twitch thing, it wasn't meant to start a Twitch channel. Twitch is where a lot of streaming trends start and then other platforms may start to follow suit to compete. On Twitch, you can just turn a cam on and do whatever job you do and not interact with the camera. The Geeks & Co can just have a camera on while building, without engaging with it- hell, try having one pointed at a 3d printer watching it print - people will watch odd stuff like that.

I remember reading about this theory and it always stuck with me; Dexter created his family in Dexter's Laboratory. I had to look it up to make sure I was remembering it correctly but basically, Dexter accidently killed his family in an experiement gone wrong so he created clones of them in his lab.

It's still easy to retcon all of discovery... as long as other cannon does nothing further to support the trash that it is. She-Jesus, Burnham, can just wake up still in confinement prison and everything Discovery was just a test implanted memory for a new illegal bio-weapon. She permanently is mentally damaged and never ever needs a future cameo after the first episode of the retcon series. Starfleet Authorities bust in and raid the facility devolving the memory altering device. The Klingons also attack the facility simultaneously as the raid is happening. Burnham and all other test subjects die during the raid in the first episode to be permanently removed from cannon. The new retcon series is placed right in the midst of the Klingon War. Discovery never happens - but was only an implanted memory in test subject 1014 (Burnham). ....................... Sure, my idea is stupid - I don't care. It was only 20 seconds of thinking involved it getting rid of Discovery. AND - as dumb as my quick plot line was; it was still far better than all of the writing of all seasons of Discovery. Get a group to brainstorm a better plot and it will be simple to get rid of Discovery without an apology to fans. Because right now, most fans believe they need an apology. Since that will never happen, take another route and give us a good series.
