The OG Sleeping Beauty sees Maleficent as a villain in the story, but after seeing Maleficent's live action depiction, it changed people's perspective about her from being a villain to basically an anti-hero.

The story is different, in the live action maleficent is a Broken villain, that later becomes a hero But the OG one is pure evil
