I feel like either the meteors need to strike with less delay, or the spell should be reworked to something like an eruption, so that it hits from the ground instead of from the sky. Might even work as an idea for a new separate spell.

Game is really unfun as a new player. So I kinda just dropped it. Without already established items etc you kinda just struggle in Act2 because the mobs are so bullshit.

If you do give it another go, I highly recommend not pushing darkness above 10 until you've maxed out your talent tree(s).

It scales pretty well with all the extra projectiles, really just needs some dynamic enemy tracking.

Maybe if meteor shower had movement prediction for enemies as those bombs have from a bomb guys. Then it might be S tear ability.

Have you been able to make a Lorien cast build work? I was only able to do d100 with fatality/god of war/justice stuff/landslide. After you pick up Fatality though, the casts don't really matter :/

I think Winter and World Freeze would be ultimate combo for a higher difficulty so meteors will hit the targets

36 meteors at the average damage comes out as 130k damage per cast. With my mediocre build with max master force gets master light rays to 70k dps and master landslide to 90k dps per instance per cast with light rays getting a full overlap with master duration and a couple cooldown effects from the shrines.

Really lucky too since I had my grandpas old acoustic guitar next to my desk, I usually play while waiting on loading screens or taking a break.

I wonder if it would be worth it to try and use equipment that slows down enemies, so they actually get hit by the meteors. I don't know what slot(s) you'd have to give up for that, but it's a bit silly seeing the full wrath of the god of fire lose to a skeleton walking at a brisk pace, so it might be worth considering at least.

I'm a big fan of the spinning amulet in a lot of cast builds. I think it works on meteors too in order to speed them up.

Dear Jeff. Which is better: Blessing rarity level up offers OR More new god blessing offers? Also, do rarity level up include expert to master? I tend to go for items that have high master and/or legend offers + rarity upgrades. Just wondering if it's redundant or not optimal.

Generally Level up/Rarity up on gear is a wasted affix. Prioritize Mastery offers over everything.

Hey Jeff, Neural Shock dev here. Huge thanks for trying out the demo! Your natural talent made it look way too easy - good thing the difficulty modifiers are well on their way :) I made some notes about QoL improvements: - Allow editing your loadout in the mission while still preparing for the first wave - Access the sound options and keybinds while in mission - Show turret/trap stats showing the effects of upgrades and other modifiers while in a mission - Definitely mandatory to have the speedup feature in place Also need to definitely consider the Dash functionality! As well as the 100% crit on ass hit ;)

Hey there, I appreciate it! I agree that those are the top priorities before launch, seems like you already have a good idea of what you are doing though =) As for the Dash, you might consider making it a character specific ability. It kind of makes sense that the sniper can't dash. My only other note would be reevaluating the talent tree system. This is more of a long term suggestion but generally mostly passive talents don't feel amazing. I would at least start with an idea of something like- First Row - Passives Second Row - Passive Pick 1 ( can only have 1 talent from the row) For sniper something like bullets pierce/split/bounce,.... etc Third Row - Passives Fourth Row - Active Pick 1 Fight Row -Passives Final Row - Active pick 1 Obviously that's a long term plan but I think you will find you'll have a lot of people slinging ideas once they get their hands on it.

I originally wanted to do something like this with a combination of actives and passive choices, but this suggestion really makes it clear how to make it fun. I will take the action to re-evaluate the system in the long term! And also fully agree with the dash being a character specific ability.

bro, try the avaron power build. the idea is you use those circling rock balls as the main dps. But you need a certain weapon that has 3 power projectiles. Then just roll, Krom God of War and Attack modifier, Rock Mamas- rock circling things and persistence, and Lady Justice, inner peace, retribution and armor. Darkness 100 is such a breeze as long as you rush Rock Circling things and inner peace.

I'm waiting for that build, Rumor has it Rock Shield is supposed to be affected by projectile velocity.......I've already got an entire gear set ready. Also expecting a balance patch within the next month, though that is pure speculation on my part.
