Hello 😊 The legal terms of all courts across India are the same. All courts all over India use the same legal terms and language. So if you can write matters of any one court, you can write matters of all courts. There is no difference between PH High Court and Delhi HC or any other court. As for speed, you can increase the speed of our 100 wpm legal dictations by 1.25 times. That way you can get a speed of 125. You can change the speed of each dictation from each videos settings.

But if you also practice Legal matters, then your ability will be increased greatly. So yes, you should absolutely practice Legal matters also. There are two reasons why it can feel slow: 1. You are writing at more than 120, which is extremely commendable 2. The words are short in length, thereby making the total number of characters less. For eg, if average length of every word is 5 in a passage and 6 in another, then in spite of the number of words remaining the same, the number of characters increase by 100 for every 100 words. So in a 600 word dictation, it becomes 600 characters extra. Which is almost another 100-120 words extra.

This is a fountain pen. This is the best instrument to write shorthand. The second best is a pencil - preferably Nataraj 621 HB. The most harmful instrument is a dot/ball-point pen. It actually reduces the speed.

You can use any company's fountain pen. There are 3 characteristics of a good fountain pen: 1. Light weight - the pen must not be heavy. And don't place the cap on the end of the pen. 2. Fine nib - the nib must not produce a fat stream of ink 3. Narrow grip - the place where we hold the pen must not be fat - the narrower, the better the grip

Because, even if you make a bit more mistakes in difficult passages, then you can be sure that you will make lesser mistakes in easier passages. But someone who avoids difficult passage all the time, they are always afraid about a difficult passage coming in the exam.

We will combine two 5 minute dictations of two days into a single 10 minute dictation for now. We thought it would be better for you if we start giving dictations of 5 minutes from now on rather than wait longer to give 10 minute dictations as you can start practicing sooner. 10 minute dictations will be published after the SSC Prelims is over.
