Version 3.9.60.50 - All assign commands to a target effect works fine but that damn direction command... Whatever I type: Assign Effect /Dir=< or /dir="<" or /dir=fwd the feedback just gives me back: ""Error : Assign Effect "EffectName_X" /dir=< | Error #14: OBJECT DOES NOT EXIST | But that damn object exists since it works perfect with all other commands targeting that object! Any Idea?

Hey everytime when I want to store something just like at 4:29, the store method windows doesn't pop up which is very frustrating? Do you know why this happens?

Funny I have the same passion as you, Jonas, for lighting, MA, music, etc. And I “did a few gigs” and would have loved to have been immersed in the industry. But I was far too old to start at the beginning as a broke tech or roadie. So now I treat it as a fun hobby. I set up truss in my garage, have 2 MAonPC nodes, and a bunch of fun lights, MIDI controllers, Resolume, and a PA system. I write my own light shows for music I like and music I play myself. I am using your LUA courses and enjoy many of your old videos for learning MA2. I plan to immerse in MA3 soon, but just as a hobby. One thing I found is that lighting as a business is a collaboration and I don’t necessarily take well to a band member’s wife or cousin or manager sticking their nose into my lighting design. There are always way too many cooks in the touring kitchen. Plus, venues are always a pain in the neck with setup time and relying on others under pressure is way too stressful. So I’m actually in real estate, but I do lighting “for the love of the game”. No stress, no collaboration, total control, and constant learning. Touring can turn a passion into a grind, and at my age, I don’t want a grind. I just want fun activities, and if I get paid for them, fine. If not, then not. Anyway, I can relate to some of your path, touching the lighting game but not being able to really grab it and run with it. No reason not to continue it as a hobby!

Hi! Whenever i enter the "move" command, nothing ends up happening and the cue order remains the same. i made sure i write the full executor command and numbers correctly as shown in the video but nothing happens after i press "PLEASE" in the end. Anyone has an idea what might be causing this? Thanks!

for some reason Visual Studio is reading gma in line 2 as undefined, I'm not sure whats up as its running Lua as the language

grandma2 software is complex. And now we have to learn Lua also. Ok downloaded a Master LUA course. And bookmark your YT ch . Will look into it. As Bachelor it can be done. Thanks

Great Video! A Video for (PT-) Movements would be pretty nice. Because I think its one of the hardest topics to create nice movements (...that respect the continuity aspect). Especially when there are not a lot of moving fixtures (for example 4 or 8)

I been trying to write a plugin to import midi remote at a certain index and not delete the other midi remotes that i already have stored. Its been a little bit challenging. Makes it handy to have if i open a older showfile that ive done but have newer midi remote presets to add
