Dawg! I have several lines of piloted mechs & autonomous "dolls" that are centered around Armored Core & gundam but are all scaled to the size of yours. I'm on Xbox, but at this point, I believe that im the biggest grid creator on console period. Being on console however, it's actually been an extraordinarily difficult undertaking being how intricate I like them to be. That said, if u are indeed able to access scripts, it would be incredible if maybe u could mess around with some of the better ones of mine sometime. As much as I've poured into them it'd just be great to see them get some justice & taken to that next level that I, an console player, will simply never be able to take them unfortunately. U and anyone else for that matter are more than welcome to do anything u want or utilize any aspect of any of my builds for that of your own without any need for credit due. I'm "sicsfeetdeep" on mod.io/Xbox, faction is CCDF

Ok if you are using advanced walker script try tweaking the leg stride at 0.1 + or - until it feels smoother

Ngl it would be super cool to program a mech to walk and be able to stabilize itself...... But programming one in space engineers is even harder than programming one in real life due to clang(and real versions of mech suits took about 10+ years to develop before ultimately being considered a waste because a wheeled vehicle is far superior for combat.

Advanced walker script uses gyros to help stabilize but if you turn off or not assign it and you yourself balance it with mouse you can make it MOVE. 15m a second

Im still working on it, work in progress. Sucks the hitboxes on the seats wont allow any block placement in the empty air around them lol So the roof above the seats i cant place anything on the interior.

I personaly make mechs in SE, not using programmable block, but timers for I don't have pc or patience with writing code. On workshop find BZ, it is actualy defined what each mech does and what you can expect in two languages

I wonder how much protection does the plate armor give on the barrel. When fighting my friends tanks, usually the assault cannon is what gets destroyed and ends the match. Haven’t tried armouring it yet because I go for realistic look. But this half plate design looks good.

The plate armor realistically only protects against bumping things or stray gatling rounds, but it looks cool, which means you do it anyway.

True, age old argument. I build for fun. The way id use this is inside my mining base, as a door body guard of sorts. Fun to hop in and play around in. Then park it. Mechs this size are usually one shot.

@@TheMostBloatedOfBitterflies Unfortunately probably very badly against hydromen with rocket launchers, and the NPC mod is still very crashy. Could be fun in a dedicated PvP map with limited weapons and hydro.

Yes, On PC. It uses a script in a program block. Make sure you have scripts enabled in your game settings.

I love it. I know it's not made of a lot of armored blocks, but if you use tactics with that, such as the environment that can be very effective with that set up you have What I would recommend is adding some kind of drill so that way you can make a trench to approach Or defend your position In combination with a deployed drone to act as a countermeasure or air cover But again I love what you have

yeah its 50/50, i like it. For the size its hard to get good block combo for the head. i first built it without a head and ppl were commenting saying it needed one lol cant win either way lol

yeah i was trying that, i couldnt get it to control both arms at same time, tried a few different scripts and turret controllers, TCES script should be able to but it wouldnt read both arms for me
