Yep. Ive had a 91r for over six years. It has allowed me to develop a mowing business and start mowing 5 other people's lawns. I'm in no hurry to expand further, because 5 lawns is already a lot. I run 16:1 or 32:1 to reduce cam lobe wear, and i haven't needed to adjust the valves yet. It is an amazing machine once you up the oil and adjust the carb.

Reduce cam live wear and adjust the valves? This is a 2 stroke both of those things do not exist in this engine

@@cass8144newer 91 models are 4 stroke ran by two stroke mix to get benefits of both research it

@@cass8144 The 91 is a 4 stroke that runs on 2 stroke fuel, and yes it has valves.

Cheers a heap replaced the oil pump also had to replace the worm gear the threads were worn as well. So frustrating how there is different oil pumps for the same model

Its 2 stroke engine oil with gasoline 50:1 as required. Just not the Stihl brand (red.) So what?

When u mix gas and oil Together even if u mix it right it still the ethanol itself destroys the motor that’s why ur supposed to use pure 2 cycle ethanol free such as echo red armor or true fuel 50:1 ratio other wise be prepared for a motor rebuild after 5 years 👍

@@Ronalsantizo , so you sent out empty of fuel? You said the customer said it only ran for 5 minutes , so that would mean only two things either you are not telling the truth or you gave it back with garbage dirty fuel still in it, simply because if you gave it back with fuel in it im sure you put more than 5 seconds worth of fuel in it to where the customer would fill it up but it only runs 5 mins , story doesn’t add up dude … Sorry but you trying to fool a 43 years experienced Stihl Platinum Technician…

Or customer ran it for long enough to run out of the fuel we had on it, and added his old fuel back on it. Plus here in south florida fuel starts to get water and go stale withing 40 days due to himidity.

Either way we talked to customer and he said he had his fuel since september. So we advised him to always use fresh fuel

ok, please help.... how the heck do you change the spark plug in this saw? I have the shindawa 385ts which is the same. it doesn't show how to in the owners manual, and not in the usual spot as a normal saw. thank you for you help!

On the back of saw there is a circle hook, you will have to remove that cover. You will need a t27 wrench to remove the bolt. Its a black cover

Dane Scag Started the stander with great dane brand. Wright had only a patent where u stand. Alos Wright makes those mowers for exmark then exmark slaps their deck on

Wright does not make those mowers for Exmark lol. Wright's patent expired and so the design is fair game. That's why John Deere, Exmark, and others copied them almost identically. But Wright is not involved with Exmark in any way.

@@exterminator1 I'm not going to argue with you lol your claims have 0 base or evidence. It's simply not true. Why would exmark outsource anyways when the designs are free use? And ferris is owned by Briggs and Stratton. Briggs also makes Simplicity, Snapper and now Stihl.
