Did you booked a taxi in costa Maya from the port area ?
@lonewolfadventures01878 ай бұрын
No I did not. What you want to do is a get out of the port walk out of the main gates and there you will see a line of taxis at a much cheaper rate and they'll take you anywhere in the island. I hope this helps.. Happy Cruising

Nice loop! Dog Park Path (Greenbelt), crossing at Creek Crossing #1 and go up Shady Lane, Turn onto Lasso Loop and turn onto Crossover Trail, cross Horton Line to Mesquite Trail, turn onto Creek Trail which connects to Jewel Trail, cross Horton Line again and cross the creek at Creek Crossing #2 to get back onto the Dog Park Path. If you want to avoid crossing the creek, you can start your hikes from Yahoo Trail - Trailhead #3 (to access the east side of the park) or Centerpass Trail - Trailhead #5 (to access the west side of the park). Both are located on the south side of the park at the Nature Center parking lot.

Thank you for this feedback. This is greatly appreciated. It was my first time exploring this park and I will be returning. Happy Trails my friend!

Hope you do come back. Miles and miles of trails out there. I created and have maintained the Onion Creek trails map and recently added the two new trails that were created on the east side of the park. The map is available for download in various places (Facebook groups). I've also uploaded all the trails into the Trailforks app. For over 40 years we horseriders and other volunteers have created and maintained the trails. We clean them up, mow, trim back overgrowth and fallen trees/branches. I maintain the wood trail signs so people know the names of the trails. It's a wonderful park!
