A port only takes you from 2nd to 4th order if it connects the front and the back wave. A 3rd order enclosure would be a driver mounted in a sealed volume (2nd order) with the backwave going directly into a port. Another example would be the transmission line which is mentioned in the video itself.

Clearly an already uploaded youtube video can't be changed... that's ridiculous. And the amount of views is irrelevant to said suggestion. It's just feedback for the future. If it's stupid feedback... cool... just ignore it. If it is useful feedback... happy days! An analogy to my suggestion would be if someone uploaded a video called "difference between dynamic and condenser mics" and then in the same video, used terms like "phantom power", "hypercardioid pattern" and "mix matrix" without any definition. They're terms which are learned posteriorly, and a small definition in the moment could guide the viewer into either researching further, or not worrying about it.

a terrible sounding enclosure! you'll experience cancelation and loading issues. you MIGHT be able to get away with it if you used a passive radiator but I think cancelation will still be inevitable!

So you watched a video on youtube with bad sound quality recorded in a over isolated room in a box rhat don't represent real life and result is that the sound you hear can't represent real life and ypu actually made a decission from that?!?!? Never do that... Always listen in real life. Or you just blindly have to trust people (but never just one source) that knows what they are talking about. Bit that's not the best. But it's still better than a youtube video or sound recordikg if a speaker in a non-realistic enviorment

Here's my understanding of it: For the 6th order series tuned bandpass, there's the 4th order bass reflex (Front wave of the sub, capacitive reactance in the chamber, inductive reactance in the vent, and, for lack of a better word, "interactive" reactance at the front), then you add the front chamber to bring it up one order, then a vent to bring it up another, which leaves us at 6th order. Notice that the "interactive" reactance inside the front chamber between the sub and the rear wave is still there, and that the separation of the front and back wave of the sub always counts as an order, which is why an infinite baffle is considered a 1st order. For the parallel tuned 6th, you again have a 4th order bass reflex at the back, and adding a front chamber with a vent brings it up to 6th, with the rear and front chamber wave interaction replacing the sub - rear wave interaction, keeping it still as a 6th order. And then for the 6th order bass reflex, you have the front wave of the sub, two capacitive components in the form of two chambers, two vents, which are inductive components, and the interactive component at the front. Boom, it's a 6th. The terms I used might be inaccurate, but I hope you get the idea!
