The problem was at woods all of them not worked in their total capacity. Firstly we have to know woods. Oak is type of hardwood and theirs cell walls are thick so a little bit better than softwoods but not usable for construction due to their weight. Whatever, oak for testing okey but 1 days log has sap water, initial water so means free water in cells from cavities or plot inside cells space and cell walls imbeeded water. Water amount really affect the strength of wood and for a years and years after, thats why wood better! But if you put for 48H in furnace at 105 degree, woods become oven-dried and kilned from any decays and rots also increases strength way more better!

brick but which type of brick? There are 3 types of brick: surface, sedimantery and fire. Fire found at deepest level of brick and it's infrastructure nearly pure hydrated aluminaslicate (Al2O3.SiO2.H2O) so brick after burning process loses it's water chemical attached but due to shrinkage and swelling, producers of bricks company adding sand clay for it. So if you burn a fire brick, probably due to high silicate amount from sand and clay, vitrification stage will start at 1000-1200 degree but before that any absorbed water from air up to 200 degree evoprotate, at 400 degree chemical left water. at 600 degree this alumina could start oxidation but for that, silica and alumina will disintegrate, it means brick will burn or destroy to it's structural chemical parts but we can see at production same process, the bonds are really strong and up to 1000-1200 degree doesn't disconnect each other so brick will be solid up to 1000 degree to 1200 and glassify or vitrificate but decompose after that degree and will crack down. before 1000 degree losing itself chemical waters and unequal fire connection, can definately strength of brick decase.

This is pretty simple. The case weighs far less than the bullet, so if neither are being held in place, then the CASE is going to be the projectile when the powder ignites. Should have put the ballistic gel in front of the case instead. It's called inertia, you should have learned this in elementary school.

So many issues with this demo. First off failures here occurred due to buckling not compression failures. As Euler even knew over 250 years ago the stiffest of material in the direction of the load will lead to best performance not the strength. Only a fool would design a slender object like this to carry a high compression load without support or stiffeners. Carbon fiber is a composite. The Fibers only have strength when tensile loaded. They hold no loads when pushed together regardless of their tensile strength. So, with your carbon fiber tube used here you really were only testing mostly the plastic material surrounding the fiber. Finally the bearings used here were inadequate, leading to occasional eccentric loading and quicker failure if not lined up perfectly. This was a silly demo with little real value. I suggest you at the very least run tension tests if you only have access to slender walled material specimens like this. Further, for your composite materials, make sure your reinforcement is in line with your load.

So with the "spacecraft" bolt, you used washers and what appeared to be a rusty nut. The chinese titanium you ran a clean nut right up to the plate. Stacking washers which will put excess sheer and tension forces on the bolt because it wasn't tight. A single washer is good for holding, but when you stack multiple washers it will allow movement when almost 2 tons of force is applied to it. In order for you to do a valid test, the bolts need to be identical and you can't change the parameters of the test. Nice try russia....

"Epic moment in 9... 8..." Me: "Heh, honestly, we overuse that word too much, it's probably just the ball cracking..." 3... 2... 1... *BOOM* "HOLY! SH!T!!!" Best use of the word, that truly was epic. And that aftermath... wow... Then I saw the camera lying there and had that "Oh nooooo..." moment... I hope you this video is monetized and those 10M views helped replace that lens! Good lord.
